OK, so I received a TIE Phantom and I was a little disappointed to note that the dorsal wing is pointing to the left. The tip of the dorsal wing is almost as far to the left as the lower left wing!

Anyone else seen this or similar issues?

Take a few photos and shoot a parts request off to FFG for a replacement. They are really good with sending them out.

I noticed that the lower left wing on one of my Phantoms was tweaked a bit. Not as bad as you describe, but definitely not even. In trying to gently bend it back into place, I snapped it off. It turns out the wings are separate pieces, and fit into a groove along the side of the hull. If you work it loose, you can re-glue it in the correct position.

Thanks guys - I've managed to fix it now. The dorsal wing came loose quite easily, but I couldn't reposition it to be straight. So I removed the lower wings (a bit of a battle),and when I put one of them in the dorsal position it was perfectly aligned!

I really can't see any physical differences between the wings when they're not on the model, but one goes on straight, one goes on at an angle - I guess the wings need to be assembled in a specific order!
