I got good news and bad news. Got the Beloved of Bast Card the other day but only got to keep it until the new Mythos cards was drawn after the Story Continues. So had it about .1 seconds but really that cat head does help to keep monster off your investigator.

I don't understand what you mean. What was the downside? That you have to discard the Bast token and no longer receive its protection when you become Beloved?

Bast is already a mean Guardian. She makes you pay for her services (in two different ways) and then if you become her beloved, she forsakes you at the same time.

Cats are fickle.

I forgot to mention the AO was one doom token away from awaking... and the Mythos card drawn after the Story added that Doom token... cause you got to discard Beloved when the AO awakens.
