Hadn't posted anything on this side of FFG forums before this. Last friday we had the weirdest game of AH I've ever played. It was scenario 3 of the current league, but that probably hadn't much to do with how the game went.

We had a total 2 investigators retired and 5 investigators devoured at the end of the game, and we still won through sheer luck!

So, what is the biggest numbert of investigators you have had devoured in one game?

Mine probably peaks at two, vs Yog Sothoth naturally. R'lyeh did the damage, twice an investigator entered and bam, LiTaS'd through an encounter. Checking the stats sheet, looks like still sealed Yog with 9 of 12 doomers on the track.

Think I've had 3-4 vs Yog.

I had 3 once when it wasn't Yog. I drew two Dunwich encounters that Devoured my Investigators and one Other World enocunter. It happened out of the blue in a span of about 2-3 turns, so my game fell apart after that

How about fasted devoured investigator? Me Luke Dreamlands encounter where you have to Sneak by Dholes or be Devoured... 1st turn!

I started as an investigator who got a Task as a random common item. The Task started at the Black Cave (or maybe the Graveyard, I forget which). I went there on turn 1. The encounter got me Lost in Time and Space and Yog-Sothoth ate me.

On turn three an encounter somewhere else shunted my new investigator out to the street. A Shan in the sky moved on to me. Including clue tokens, I rolled nine dice on the Horror check and got no successes. My third investigator fought a Star Spawn twice, was hospitalized twice, and drew the same Injury card both times. My fourth investigator in that game lost against a Yithian and was devoured by Yog-Sothoth as a result. My fifth investigator made it to the Final Battle and was devoured on the second turn. The other investigators killed Yog-Sothoth without me. No other investigators had been devoured in the whole game.

Even against Yog-Sothoth we lost only 1 investigator. On the other hand, I have played against it only once.

After playing a little more than 10 games with my friends we have lost always 1 at maximum. Never even two in the same game. Of course, mostly we lose against the board so all investigators get devoured in the end but I guess that was not what was asked.

I never have more than one investigator devoured in a game, and even that is rare. (excluding final battle)
