I don't mean recycled talent trees and the like - that stuff is inevitable - I mean how much supplements for one will use mechanics from the other. For example. . . .

Take the Jedi from the third act of Jewel of Yavin. She probably had much more than just the one of two powers that we get in EotE - she probably should have had some powers from from AoR and probably some from F&D. But being a product released before the other two books, they had to build her with the mechanics in place.
So, lets say that JoY was released in 2016. The writer goes to build Elaiza, but has several other powers in place. Does he dip into F&D?
Yes the games are suppose to be stand alone, but logically, I don't see any reason why there couldn't be overlap like that.
