It fits perfectly on a boat trailer to move it around.
Really, I would love to have it on a vinyl mat.
I dunno, the detailing is a little poor and the wash is far too heavy at the moment in some places. I think FFG let us down on this one and I am going to wait for the fan repaints.
(That's a fabulous model and obviously I am joking, to clarify, since tone is difficult to transmit through the etherwebs)

I'd very much like to know how they managed to build a 214-foot Super Star Destroyer...
Just so everyone knows if the Star Destroyer was made to 1/270 scale it would be 19.5 feet long. If you used the new scale of 1/400 that the Tantive and Transport are it would still be 13 feet long. That picture of the Star Destroyer does fall somewhere between that scale.

Can anyone confirm that is is a legit ffg model and not just some star destroyer prop or toy used at the comicon? If this is truly legit it would be awesome but, waaaaay to big to work on the in game play area.

It really should come with 12 Bombers, 12 Interceptors, and 48 TIEs. Also, about 12 Lambdas, I should think.

That's actually a great deal, after you spend all your money to buy it, you don't have to worry about keeping a house, just sleep in it!

Possibly outmanouvre as well as outrun. Destroyers are actually quite fast in a straight line - see one keeping in gun range as the falcon runs from it at Hoth. For that matter it needs to be able to keep up with the Tantive in a straight run.
