Help Pillgrimage Labyrinth of Ruin (interlude quest)

By snoopy3418, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I have 3 question:

A) Guardian statues suffer condition like poison?

B) If it can suffer condition... when guardian take damage (the have not a turn)??

C) Are guardian affect by ability like Barghest Howl ??

Thanks for help.

Hmm... after reading the section about the Guardians,

Guardians can be targeted and affected by monster attacks but do not suffer damage from hero attacks or abilities.

With this in mind, the quest specifically implies that hero attacks and abilities do not affect the guardians but when in regards to monsters, they only specify attacks.

My Call : Guardians can only be attacked by monsters, any abilities, e.g.: poison or howl, have no affect on them.

Thematically speaking (disclaimer: which doesn't mean a difference in this game, lolz), the guardians are statues, at least that's how I imagine them. Statues wouldn't be affected by poisons or howls regardless, cause well, they're stone. :D

I agree. I was looking for translation error because this interlude look very difficult for overlord.
We 'll see next week.
Thank you very much.

To clarify:

The guardians are not classified as figures, objectives, or anything- they're a new category- therefore, the only rules about what applies to them are what is written in the quest. As stated, that's basically just monster attacks, and the quest specific things (Serena's soothing spirit, heroes resting, and the blessed waters.)

Something important to note about guardians is that they don't have turns (even though there is a situation in which they can move.) If I could venture a guess, since it doesn't say they are immune to conditions, they are not immune to conditions. However, since they don't have turns, many conditions won't bother the guardians- that is, if a guardian is poisoned by a monster attack, it will never need to perform the might check, therefore the poison doesn't matter. The only condition that would seem to matter to them is "weakened," since it would affect their defense rolls. The condition would have to be inflicted by a monster attack. Unfortunately for the OL, plague worm traits are excluded from this map, so that's impossible.

In short, the guardians aren't technically immune to conditions, but they really don't get affected by them since they don't have turns.
