---ruled to not work, ignore---

By Cetonis, in UFS Deck Building

For a refresher:

*Jedah*
5HS, 31VIT
Air/Fire/Water
E Commit 1 foundation: If this attack deals exactly its printed damage, add it to your staging area as a foundation during your End Phase.

So yeah, he got a bunch of new toys to play with off of fire. Namely, Pommel Smash, (commit a card and Stun 1... on every attack) Zi Mei's Wheel Kick, (Stun 3... on every attack) and Siren's Call. (all of your opponent's attacks go to negative 1 trillion, and then you commit something) Conveniently, the first two will still deal printed damage even if half blocked. Jank deck, go!

*Jedah*

4x Pommel Smash
4x Zi Mei's Wheel Kick
4x Siren's Call
3x Tiger Fury <--- can be used to either finish on its own, or give its E: to every attack :P

3x The Tae Kwon Do Zephyr
4x Empire's Ruin
4x Adoration
4x Blinding Rage
3x Makai High Noble
4x Bitter Rivals
3x Superior Balance (action side is a good speed boost... 5HS = KFT bad)

4x Relentless <--- desparate for card draw -.-'
4x Resourceful
4x Envoy of the Queen
4x Nursing a Grudge

3x Glanzende Nova & Frischer Himmel

Incredibly stupid, but could be really annoying when it does actually work. No OM since, in theory, if the deck is working you'll have so much committal it won't really matter. And if the deck isn't working an OM probably isn't going to save you. Well, not like it's supposed to be competitive anyway. Just something silly to screw around with should you get in the mood.

I believe the combo with this guy required "a singing and dancing musical sister" to actually use the abilities on the attacks, I may be wrong though...

That's actually HILARIOUS if it works right.

hmm, I think Musical Sister was for a different combo that involved playing the abiliites of attached cards, before the rules made it so attached cards weren't considered to be in the staging area. Pretty sure this works, otherwise Master of Magic wouldn't need the blanking clause.

Eh, what YOU'RE refering to isn't what B-Rad is

He's saying *Jedah* works well with Musical Sister because it allows him to play abilities on attacks in his staging area since they are legal targets.

But that's a giant investment poor 5handsize Jedah just isn't up for =/

But he should be able to play the abilities on the attacks in his staging area anyway, since they are "considered foundations" (as per his full text, I didn't type it all out for simplifcation purposes) so long as they're in the staging area. That means you can play Pommel Smash's E: just as if it were a grey card named Pommel Smash sitting in your staging area with that text. No Musical Sisters needed.

Wrong. There is a ruling in R&Q that abilities on attacks cannot be played when in your staging area as a foundation

aww, no fun... I'm pretty sure that goes against the intent of the card, but ah well.
