Outmaneuver and the Falcon

By ExpatSmuggler, in X-Wing

Doing a bit of squad building this morning and came across a bit of a conundrum for me. How does Outmaneuver work on the YT-1300?

The card reads "When attacking a ship inside your firing arc, if you are not inside that ship's firing arc, reduce its agility value by 1 (to a minimum of 0)." So does that only apply to it's main firing arc on the front, or can the turret also gain use of that ability from any firing angle?

Only on the front firing arc

Whenever cards refer to the "firing arc" they are referring to the arc printed on the card which does not include the 360 arc from turreted primary weapons. In the case of the Firespray, however, it does apply to both the forward and aft arcs because they are both printed on the base. You can read more about it in the FAQ.

Outmaneuver works great against the Falcon. Also shuts down Threepio.

Also, if you look at the wording of the various turrets, the say "...May fire outside your firing arc.", not that the arc changes.

Cool cool cool. Figured as much, but wanted to check with the collective wisdom of the Forums.
