Is it wrong or considered cheating if you have a maneuver reference card handy when playing in a tournament. A friend and I have been debating this for about 3 weeks now and we each have our opinions. I think it's cheating.
Maneuver reference card
Before I posted this I did a search for related topics. I found nothing. During the time I created this topic another thread was started with the same question.
These aren't the droids your looking for, move along
I meet in some tournament players with maneuver reference and hit probability reference. I think is not a cheat if you use like remainder and you do not loss time to read it any maneuver or roll of dice, reducing drastically the number of rounds.
Check the back page of the rulebook. It's quite acceptable to have a reference available.
Yep, maneuver reference cards are fine to have and use during tournament play.

Yes they do.
Even a hit Probility reference card is ok.
Why would that be cheating? This game is not about having hidden information (aside from the maneuvers you're choosing), and they give them out with every ship sold. No it's definitely not cheating.

Playing a lot and learning the dials is a bit different than someone who uses a reference card to look to see what maneuvers I could make. Know that I've been informed that it is in fact not cheating I'll be ok with it. When I said it was cheating that was my opinion before I knew it. Thank you.
