So I played a friendly game last night and got to use echo with adv cloak. I ended up getting a crit that said treat all hard turn manuevers as red. So I eventually did a hard turn and took the stress which put me In good position for firing. So I fired and then went to activate my adv cloak card but got into a discussion about wether I'm allowed to cloak per the card while I have a stress. Anyone know? I know you can decloak while stressed but what about cloaking per the adv cloak card?

ACD gives you a free action. You may not take actions, free or otherwise, while stressed.

It is an action, so you can't perform it when stressed.

You cannot perform Actions, even Free Actions, when you have at least 1 Stress Token, Tycho being the exception. You can still be assigned and spend tokens when Stressed though.

It's a reason that Rebel Captive shuts ACD down completely unless someone else can take a potshot at the RC ship first.

Rebel Captive on the Decimator will be the go to answer for dealing with Phantoms for Imperials I think.

Sure, but RC can be completely avoided. With a phantom list, certain things are going to take priority in terms of "kill first". Turreted ships, high PS and stress giving ships would and should be the first targets taken down when flying a phantom list.

I don't think 80% of the player base understands how to effectively fly wave 4 ships.. When they do, watch out.
