So when you get an evade from C3PO's ability is it treated as an evade token or a die result? This question has come up when you cannot evade hits but evade tokens can...
C3PO's ability... Token or Evade die result?
The card says you add a <evade> result. I'd be inclined to say that you'd treat it the same way you would a Evade Token, so when something talks about Evade Dice you could use C-3P0's evade.
It doesn't count as an evade token, per se, but has an effect identical to spending a token (adding an evade result). It is definitely not in the category of evade dice.
I agree it is not an evade die but would the work like a token? Can it nullify Auto Blaster hits? If I can spend it like a token can I hold it till I need it, like a token?
It's not a token - it's an evade result.
Results can be generated by several places: Dice, Tokens, or Abilities. C-3PO is an ability which generates a result. It's not dice (so not restricted by Autoblaster) and not a token (so you can still use it against Homing Missiles).
You can't hold the result from C-3PO - it applies to the attack it's being used on.
Autoblaster says that dice cannot cancel the hits; C3P0 != dice, therefore 3P0 can cancel autoblaster.
