I saw a guy at a local tournament play with an interceptor variation of this (and doing well enough) and am debating about trying it out.

Echo, Predator, Advanced Cloaking Device

The player indicated that the interceptor in his list was basically required to deal with stuff that gets behind the shuttles. It's a load of HP/shields (34) and more attacks than my typical 6 ship TIE swarm (13 vs 12).

Thoughts?

It may have more dice than a "typical 6 ship TIE Swarm" but that would be before you count any Howlrunner rerolls.

Sounds hardy. Let us know how it flies.

I think I'd swap Predator for an FCS and VI, personally, but I like the idea of the list.
