I think this forum could be better organized into subforums, ect. This would be my vote:

- Results

- Player Finder

- Current Meta analysis

-Battle Reports

-regular

-Epic

-Paint and Hobby

-Rules Questions

-Speculation

-Hopes/Dreams/Complaints

-Confirmed/Unreleased

-List Mania

-Rebel

-Imperial

-Campaign

-scenario creation

-Solo play

-Unrelated/Misc

I don't think this forum is active enough to justify dividing it into so many different subforums. Half of the ones you listed would probably get 1-2 posts a week tops.

What I would like to see is a way to tag your posts with "Repaint" or "Campaign" or whatnot. That way someone could look at all the repaint posts in the general forum or bring up only Epic bat reps. Keep everything in one place, just make it easier to find what you're looking for.

never saw those, just saying as the game grows and the forum gets busier this format won't work too well in the long term.

I like the idea in principle. but agree with Harpsicord

Some styles of thread keep coming up, so making those into additional sub-forums would be enough. Just adding a painting/hobby and a list building sub forum would be useful and helpful.

I am a moderator of another site and we have found over the years that less is more.

Most people still post in the main area instead of delving deeper into the sub forums.

That's way too many subforums, in my experience splitting up the base will make for quieter forums which in turn will be a higher barrier for new posters.

You don't want too much off-topicness happening, especially when running a community site isn't the core business of the site owner.

Keep it to a general area, a rules forum and a painting/modding forum. That's enough.

I just fleshed it out into as many categories as I think people post about without getting insane, I agree we're not there yet. Good idea on the tags!
