So FF this is what I'd like to see in imperial aces 2:

Tie bomber

Tie advanced

3 new named pilots per ship

Title card for tie advanced giving either an extra upgrade slot ala interceptor or extra pilot skill slot. Let's make Vader the terror on the battlefield he really should be.

New bomb types

Vader always has the problem of being under gunned. So few players take him seriously. I really think Vader on the table needs to be a scary thing. Proton rockets help but he needs a bit more.

I think it's been discussed before, but a TIE advanced title for 1 or 2 points that increases the primary attack value by 1 would be fantastic.

Fantastic in terms of functionality, but really boring I think. I hope they come up with a more interesting fix than just straight Attack power increase.

Agree, however, with 1 or 2 points would be too cheap, 3 points is probably just about right for the Title card to increase primary attack permanently. I would love to have it say "Tie Avenger upgrade: Tie Advanced Title"

I don't care how they fix the advanced and won't comment on how I'd like it fixed--I've been excited about how FFG comes up with some creative ways to make things better than I would have designed myself. I mostly am looking forward to new pilots and paintjobs, especially for the bomber. Perhaps they'd release the scimitar class bomber for an aces release.

I would like to see a title card that grants the Advanced a Systems and/or cannon upgrades. I think it would be great to have a FCS or AdvSensors on the Advanced. It would also be cool to give it a cannon like the Defender.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Lambda re-released for a repaint. We still haven't seen the Tyderium title, or a "Fly Casual" EPT.

Not that I'm "aching" to fly a Lambda or anything but there is plenty of movie stuff that can fit into a reprint of that.

I had considered the idea of a Sith Lords expansion at one time, with the Lambda and TIE Advanced. New pilots and such, Palpatine crew card, royal guard crew cards (Jax, Kanos, etc, even a non-unique royal guard could work) and maybe even an alternate Vader crew card or something, idk. Fix the Advanced however FFG likes, and please take the opportunity to add new cannon upgrades (that could go with a card that adds cannon slot to the Advanced as was suggested earlier, or just for the Shuttle)

Those ships don't really have any good marketable repaints though and I (and probably many others) really do not need any more shuttles or TIE advanced.

Its also highly unlikely that we've completely solved the FFG kremlinology game this early into the games evolution.

In general with games like Magic, Warhammers and Xwing the ideal is that there are multiple reasons for different customers to desire a new release, some are irrelevant to some players. In this case a couple be successful on multiple fronts, each is somewhat possible: people want repaints, new pilots, cards, a new model, relevance for previous models and a patching of the game, added depth and complexity to keep the whole line from feeling stagnated, and overall to keep customers hooked when they feel good about making another purchase.

You could count me interested in new bomber pilots, the scimitar model (in which I'd need the max I could field), and a patch to the advanced.

I'd like an upgrade that lets bombers either carry more ordnance or make use of it more efficiently. Currently the bomber is hardly the missile platform it should be.

I see it as this...Advanced get updated and a solid but could use help would be the Bombers getting help

Both need better pilots, and rearrangement of add ons

I'd like to mention that I think the bomber is a hugely underrated ship and actually both named pilots are awesome and costed very well for what they are.

All bomber squads can easily stand up to things I'd never really thought they'd do well against like elite squints and HSF and they joust like beasts too. They have a ton of hull are costed nicely, barrel roll, and don't have that bad a dial. I think they deserve to see more play and an ace pack could do it.

Yes I want to upgrade the TIE Advanced, by this wave is very obsolete, and expensive, so it needs a very urgent upgrade, greettings.

Or... don't mind the Advanced, just give us an Avenger! :P

I like the idea of giving the Tie Advanced a set of titles representing a series of experimental enhancements that these experimental craft might have gone through. And since the general consensus is that the advanced is overpriced, make these titles cheaper than they would be through other means to compensate. Some examples might include adding a sensor slot, engine upgrade, a canon slot, or even a +1 to the primary attack. Maybe add a slight twist to these traditional abilities to maintain the 'X' factor.

I can't claim credit for this idea, but I like it for making the advanced more viable while maintaining the fluff.

Ordnance would become awesome if it allowed you to attack with your primary weapons at the same time. All of a sudden you'd start seeing more and more orndance. Though with the fixes they've tried to make to it already, it would become "broken." Though that said - I wouldn't mind pretty much having to load my X wing with torps... It'd be more realistic, you'd never fly into combat with empty tubes.
