This might be not be the right place for this but the GenCon description for this event is a little lacking... Is there a FFG contact person for this event? Its being run at the FFG HQ so I would assume yes but one never knows.

Some info that might help would be a list of what materials are necessary and what will be provided. I understand that one must bring their own figures but does this include dice, Lore cards, reference cards, card stands, flags for both pennant and banner, etc? Are proxies allowed for special units (creatures, etc.)

Will this be a single elimination, Swiss round, Bracket, or alternative style of tournament? CtA is being used to muster but does this include specialist cards and if so, is it limited to the base CtA set or is it whatever you own?

Any other descriptions or info FFG could supply would be great as well. Thanks!

The info I got from FFG (automated reply) when I signed up for the tournament was:

We will be providing the game boards. You must bring your troops, reference/command cards, and dice.

I would assume I'm going to need to bring my CtA deck and specialist cards, as well, since the only thing they mention providing is the game board.
