BattleScribe X-Wing Files Updated! New Rebel Aces A-Wing Spoilers!

By Dr Lucky, in X-Wing

I added the new spoilers from Rebel Aces that appeared today - the new A-Wing Pilot, Gemmer Sojan, and the new Proton Rockets upgrade card. As usual, unreleased cards (at the present, everything from Wave 5 and Rebel Aces) are marked with a dagger symbol (†). I removed the dagger symbols from the Wave 4 cards because they are releasing this week.

This version is fully up to date with all current releases including both Rebel Huge ships and Wave 4, and all spoiled Wave 5 and Rebel Aces content released so far.
If you've already been getting my updates for BattleScribe, you can just update your data in the program/app. If you haven't, you can get the data file here:
Some background info:
What is BattleScribe?

BattleScribe is a generic list-building program (or an app for Android or IOS). You can get the PC or Mac version free at www.battlescribe.net (there are also links to download the mobile versions - also free - from the appropriate app stores).

Once you have the program, the file I posted lets you build X-Wing lists in BattleScribe. At the same website (www.battlescribedata.appspot.com) you can get files for lots of other games like Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy, War Machine, etc. BattleScribe is great if you play multiple war games because you can use one program to manage all your lists in one format. Plus, it is easy to use and the apps don't require you to be online, so you can edit lists anytime, anywhere. It is easy to transfer lists between desktop/app, send lists to friends, or export in various formats. It has been my favorite list builder for a long time and I am excited to be keeping the X-Wing files updated.

You can read more about my updates in these threads:
Known weird things:
- Multiple Corvettes - Currently the "Limited" upgrades will throw errors if you have the same limited upgrade on more than one Corvette (like Tibanna Gas Supplies on each of two Corvettes). For what its worth, your list will flag anyway if you have more than one Corvette, because the number of epic points isn't adjustable - as it stands the app will flag any list that has more than the standard 5 epic points (and because Corvettes are 3 epic points each, two aren't legal).
- Chardaan Refit - BattleScribe doesn't really like the negative cost. It was causing an error when costed at -2. Currently, I have it listed as 0 points but when you take it, it reduces the cost of the parent ship by 2, so it works as intended. However, when you look at the list of missiles available to the A-Wing, it looks like it is 0 cost instead of -2.
- Upgrades that add Upgrade slots - If a ship has access to an upgrade that adds an Upgrade slot (like the Slave I title, R2-D6, or A-Wing Test Pilot), those Upgrades are always selectable, but will flag an error if you take them (because the quantity allowed is 0).

Upcoming version will allow you to set "minPoints" to a negative value. It allows you to work around the errors thrown up by entries with a negative points value by setting the minPoints appropriately. It's a bit of a hack, but hopefully it'll solve that problem.

Regarding the upgrade slots, is this not something that can be solved with modifiers? If not, what do I need to add/change?

One point five out of three ain't bad, right? ;)

(Best to get me via email as I don't check forums that often...)
