your standerd fix my builds thread

Ok help me fine tune or fix either of these for a store touney this week, there will be a 75 minute time so for the rebel build I want tanky+add stress to line up kill shots, Empire Vader and Slave one kill and tank, with the other 2 ties running cover

Do you mean Swarm Tactics on Kyle? No way do you want Squad Leader, Kyle needs to use his actions :) Otherwise this build is pretty solid.

For the empire build, I would suggest not using Vader. The advanced is just not a tournament viable ship for the points. Not sure how you would prefer to spend the points, you could easily get an interceptor and a tie fighter for those points.

Rebel List:
Lose the Flechettes and give Kyle a Gun.
He can't do anything with the water-pistol the HWK comes equipped with. He either needs a Turret, or to be Garven Dreis instead.

If you lose Squad Leader as well, you can afford to give "Dutch" a turret as well, though both pilots are then screwed into using the Blaster Turret.

Empire List

Vader is overcosted, and Cluster Missiles don't use his ability efficiently.
If you want to keep him, consider a Concussion Missile (like, 99% chance of rolling 4 damage if Vader Focuses as well), Assault Missiles (best missile N/A, as it can deal up to 11 damage to the enemy fleet in a 100 point game), or an Engine Upgrade (Hypermobile Vader is fun).

However, remember that he costs more than 2 Alpha Interceptors, which will deal substantially more damage.

The Royal Guard pilot is very expensive for not using the Elite Pilot Talent slot that makes it rule. Consider a cheaper pilot, and using the left-over points to buy More Ship, or some upgrades on that Bounty Hunter (which doesn't really need them, but has access to so many GOOD upgrades that it's a better bet than a PS bid on a single ship).

Oh wow missed that, yeah I second this. A HWK without a turret is a waste.
