So just wondering if rebel aces is included as part of wave 5? Rebel aces and the outrider and decimator have a release window of quarter 3. So even tho they are only releasing the outrider and decimator maybe they havnt released any smaller ships because aces takes that spot. Just my thoughts.

I think rebel aces are 4.5 like imp aces were 3.5

Aces and the huge ships are not part of an official Wave. Honestly, I think they are going with smaller waves because of the cost increase of the Decimator and that it makes it easier to design a wave with new ships from upcoming products, like Rebels and Episode VII.

Honestly I think two more small ships will add at some point soon. I think Gen con is around the corner and FFG proby has a surprise or two.

Again, they didn't say 'here's part of Wave 5', they said 'here's wave 5'. So there's really no reason to assume they're hiding something.

They could just as easily unveil the Epic Imperial ships at Gencon. Which would make a good deal more impact then 2 more ships for Wave 5.

Not saying it won't happen, but also not assuming it will either.

Yeah, either way this is something new. Either a partial reveal or a 2 ship wave. Given the wording of the article, the price of these ships, the lack of anything other the EU stuff, epic ships, ect... I think it's a safer bet on this being a 2 wave ship.

I think it would be good for them to slow down a bit with the releases. If they continue to ship a new wave of four ships every 5 months they will quickly run out of material to publish.

The priorities on the next releases should be:

1. Fix TIE Advanced
2. Add Imperial Huge Ships (maybe packaged with #1)

For those scoring along at home, and as has been reported before, there's still four product codes in the FFG list before Rebel Aces that are unaccounted for (with current bets being a "Battle of Yavin" type pack with upgrades for the Y-Wing and TIE/Advanced in one package, and an Imperial huge ship or two and my own personal guess of the Ghost from the upcoming Star Wars: Rebels animated series). We can be reasonably sure that FFG has four more products, at least, to release for this game. After that, who knows.
