Completes the A-wing info, with Gemmer Sojan and the Proton Rockets. Proton Rockets are definitely worth the tax on an A-wing. And hey, is pretty awesome on an Advanced over a Bomber. I like Sojan. He is going to be annoying to hit with a Stealth Device.

Yes!!!

Add a stealth device, boom!!! 5 defense dice.

Sojan with Proton Rockets is nasty.

Not sure I like the design of the PR card though, is that a new style or just unfinished?

Not sure what you're referring to, as it's the same style as all other secondary weapons

Meh, Sojan isn't any better than any other A-wing. Though it is good to use with him and Arvel, since they love being up close. Proton Rockets limits itself to 3 additional die based on agility. Of course, the kicker is that it requires a Focus, and you don't have to spend the token. That is a very good missile. Well worth giving up the Chardaan for. Heck, I like them on Rymer. Cheaper than Concussion Missiles, but you don't spend a token. Though, you give up range 3 on them, but I'm okay with that.

Proton Rockets is limited to 3 additional dice, so the extra agility Sojan gets from R1 does not benefit the PR at all.

Proton Rockets. Are they good enough to use the Advanced?

Probably not, but Vader will adore them.

5 attack dice with Target Lock and Focus.

YES PLEASE.

Herm... this is very interesting... All of a sudden you have a reason to not always take Chaardan Refit. 5 dice at R1 will make any A wing a real threat, especially if it stacks TL+F. The R1 limitation means though that it's not designed for an alpha strike. It still meshes well with PTL though... first engagement F+E to turtle up, then F+TL for pewpew pain the next turn.

I'm so happy my lovely A wings are going to be deadly... well, I mean, mine already is, but it'll be much easier to be deadly with 5 dice than with 2 :) .

I would swear my cards say range on them, but I might be imagining it...

As for Sojan, I meant more the fact that he can pull off a 5 dice rocket attack, and have at base, 4 dice to defend with at the same time. 5 if he has a SD.

This assumes there is more than one enemy in R1 of course, but if the attack goes well enough, you can save the focus for defense. I don't know about you guys, but I might want to spread my Imps out a bit more.

Also, I can't wait for the first person to cry foul when Gemmer (with F+E) with a stealth is at R1 of an enemy, while someone at R3 shoots at him through a rock, granting him 7 evade dice, against a HLC (w/ TL) getting one shotted. Yes, it's mathematically possible.

Nope

I blame lack of sleep.

5 is the max.

Yeah, I was misreading the card. Ignore that.

That also looks pretty sweet on a TIE Advanced.

I find it very interesting that this is the 2nd missile that does not require you to spend a token. At 3 points, its also much cheaper than 5 point Homing Missile. The range 1 limitation supposedly makes up for it, but as of right now I think PR is a huge steal at 3 points.

It's actually the third. Neither Homing Missiles or Ion Pulse Missile require you to spend the target lock.

looks like it's a missile thing.

3rd for now. We've still got ion torpedoes in the tubes (pun fully intended) so we'll see. And my guess for "Stay on Target" with the YT-2400 is a don't discard your TL when instructed. But we'll see.

Ooooooohhh..... That would be nice!

A missile that only requires focus. How amazing. So, it is a max of 5 dice? How amazing, s ok nice the A Wing will get that automatically. It also isn't "horrible" on the Tie Bomber. 1 extra dice on 1 attack for 3 pts, with focus to boost it, I'm not against the idea. Agreed with above, could be fun on the Tie Advanced.

A definite no on the Firespray though.

5 x Prototype + Proton Rockets

Someone try it, haha.

Tie Advanceds will be fun and These even make a nice little add on for those that want to run 3 Delta Defenders too :)

Side note you mentioned the homing missiles, anyone else notice that both of these (as well as deadeye for using focus instead of a TL) came in packs with A-wings? I really thing that FFG intends to have the A-wings use missiles but just through the refit in there so that "naked" A-wings still see some play
