Edit: nevermind, limit of max 3 more. So "only" 5 attack max.

Double edit: not requiring target lock, and not requiring spending a focus token is totally crazy. And it's only 3 points! I'll have to run the numbers later, but this is almost as good as an Advanced Proton Torpedo if you F+TL your target.

correct, the card does not say "and spend your focus token" so you do not need to spend the focus. This also is awesome for TIE Advanced, as they can survive the range 1 counter attack better than an A-wing (1 more hull) and can easily focus. Granted, the TIE/A still sucks, but it can help

You do not have to spend the focus, you merely have to have a focus token to fire the missile.

Still.. range 1. That's pretty harsh for a ship that may get taken out before he gets to unchain the rocket on his enemy.

And don't forget that wonderful little Munitions Failsafe for one whole point, to make sure you hit something...very nice!

Proton Rockets actually help the Advanced as it is the best imperial platform to carry it.... a step in the good direction.

I like how the Proton Rockets are portrayed, very thematic: in TIE Fighter, you would most of the time just point and shoot these things at a target (thus no TL, just F).

Well APT do come with basically guaranteed 4-5 hits if you have a focus with your tl, but I still think two proton rockets on some bombers will be awesome

That depends. On a Bomber and Advanced Proton Torpedo is still better. Same with a Firespray. Proton Rockets are nigh on Useless on the Falcon. That said, why anyone would take an APT when they can have a flechette baffles me.

Proton Rockets are pretty much the best Ordnance in the game at this point.
