Is there any particular reason why a multiple copy of a kick, or a punch is not actually a kick or a punch attack? Or is it just because it stops things like multiple throws, multiple stun etc?

I'd imagine it was originally to make a single multiple attack not become an endless chain.
But yeah, multiple stun/throw/etc. would be silly.
Not sure if its what you meant, but the "reason" is that in the TR it states that multiple copies have a blank text box. So any E:, Keyword, etc does not carry over.
It copies the printed speed, damage, block zone/modifier, difficulty, cc (but all these "printed values" are zero on the multiple copy) but leaves the text box blank
