I guess the real question is whether the flavor tie is worth it over supporting tank option. I usually fly Fel kitted out with at least hull or stealth. With two tanks he turns into a super flanker.

This is similar to a list I ran today consisting of:

Krassis + HLC

Fel + PTL + TC

Academy x 2

It gives your opponents multiple threats like your list does. I'm not a fan of a naked Omni but to each their own. Fel killed all five ships in my buddy's list. He's a bad, bad man. I think they should give you some way to permanently attach that stress token to his ship because there's rarely a moment he isn't getting that token.

How often did Fels TC come in handy?

It was used every turn I took multiple actions, which was every turn except for one when he was repositioning. It drastically increased his damage output. While two focus tokens are nice, the ability to reroll blanks was awesome. The dice gods were with me today, but I would definitely take the TC again.

I like it because evade, barrel roll and boost are useless if you move last and are already out of firing arc. I think I'll use it more often for that Fel alpha strike

Fel is the man ...at one time I remember keeping a kill sheet inside his card sleeve. Went up to 17 before he died lol. Fly slippy, forget the clock and look for the back door.
