So, folks are wondering: How the heck can we use the Advanced Scopes?

My answer: Captain Kagi.

How often have you fielded Kagi, only for your opponent to Target Lock their intended targets because he wasn't in range yet, as a Level 8 pilot moves very late in the process?

Enhanced scopes, right? Good point, really for any ship used exclusively to block as well. I wish it was a 'may' instead of a 'shall'. That would make it far more powerful so you could evade blockers if you needed to.

Kagi enhanced scopes, w/ Carnor next to him is awesome. 46 points oeft for other ships.

Unfortunately Arvel can't use it because he doesn't have a systems slot.

Its also good for giving a higher PS ship APLs, as well as big beefy ships like Corran, The named Phantoms, Named B-wings, etc that don't want to be blocked so instead they do the blocking

I ran ES on a shuttle just the other night, and my goodness, not having to worry about Prototypes and Academies blocking you is really nice.

Scopes + anti pursuit lasers = good? Hmmmmm

See, I really like Scopes. It lets you use any Shuttle as a blocker. Kagi with it and Anti-pursuit is pretty beastly. E-Wings and B-wings both love it too, but the Shuttle uses it best.

It's a great 3 point option if you need action denial.
