So my guestion is this: how you guys play with this hero?
Its very powerfull, but is there somekind of combo or plan with this hero?

Since he cant have attachments and is immune to card effects, there isn't a whole lot of planning you can do around him. There are a few cards like ally Dori that target the damage so Beorn can be "healed". He's best used in multiplayer in a deck focused on combat. Add another decent defender and another decent attacker (preferably someone with Ranged).
I'm sure he could be used effectively in other ways, but that's how I see him best being utilized.
As joe alluded to, being immune to player card effects limits the "combo's" on him making him a fairly straightforward hero. Two other things you can do to him aside from Dori is that Landroval is allowed to bring him back from death, and the upcoming card in the Dunland trap, Close Call, can also be used effectively with him
i like to pair him in a mono tactics deck. i have hama / thicket combo, and legolas with his nice array of weapons
then beorn comes in really useful in multiplay for defending the 'overspill' enemies that cant go to the hama deck...and then help to hit the tougher enemies that are enegaged with his deck
Thats a good idea to use Landroval with Beorn. How i didnt get it of myself
He's super good for early game being able to crush enemies with his high attack and easily defend across the table against tons of little enemies if they have low attack. I think Landroval is the best use with him as Beorn hopefully wouldn't die till later in the game and by then you could have Landroval out. Beorn is my favorite in Massing at Osgiliath and I recently used him to beat Into Fangorn and he did some epic tree smashing.
It realy combines well in multi player games with a "Caldara" Deck.
I am using :
Eowyn/Caldara/Galdriel + Beorn/Beregon/Glorfindel (sp)
Great association :
- Great questing power in Caldara deck.
- Engine to ensure end of game in Caldara deck with 3 dwarven tomb and 3 Map of Earnil
- 2 capacity of countering trichery, Resurection engine (Fortune or Fate) in Caldara Deck useful to "heal" Beorn.
- Super defending with Beregond (big foes) and Beorn (quantity of foes), and Attack ability at 8 (Glorfindel+Beorn) at start of game without any equipment.
- Galadriel deals with threat and card draw (mainly foir the other player).
Been through many scenario with this 2 decks.

I really like this setup! Especially the second deck. I've always been tempted to swap in Beorn instead of Legolas (one of my two decks runs Legolas, Elrohir and Elladan) to see how it would go and I think you've inspired me to at least try it out.
I'll use Elrohir like you use Beregond and have Beorn to defend any small attacks and then have the 8 attack ability with Elladan and Beorn.
Haven't found all the uses for him, but Beorn is an excellent choice for tackling the Dunland Trap. Many of the enemies require 5 attack to be killed, and Beorn handles that swimmingly.
Edited by chiller087Heavy recursion deck. Spirit for Fortune of Fate. He is also very good for BATTLE QUESTS. Also Landravol is a card for him as well.
I like Beorn in a building attachment decks. He gives you time to build the machine attached heroes.

That's an interesting point that I recently discovered. Normally, if you have Beorn in your deck, you don't add many attachments, but his action advantage and great attack allow him to bear (pun only partially intended) the burden until the rest of the group is built up.
I must take a minute to pimp Dan's blog here, because this deck is so rad:

Boromir is the star but it's a great deck featuring that silly ol' bear.
