FFG needs to have you guys writiing articles on how to mod

I wish I could paint, but I can't even crayon between the lines.

There's one HUGE problem with this TUZ. Now I'm inspired to paint even MORE Star Wars minis. God dammit, I was looking forward to some paint free days.

I may have some design ability but the modding and painting in this thread (and others that are not featured here) just blows me away. Makes me want to pick up a paintbrush again

It's great to see the gallery is having it's intended inspirational result!

That's pretty swank. I've been wanting one done up in strictly Imperial colors, something akin to the palette used for TIEs. If only there was some way to put solar paneling on the blades/fins/wings (or whatever they are).

I PM'd Pete (he's a mate), he advised:

"... Just dremelled the wings off at the base and cut lengths of brass rod to represent the hinge mechanism once the wings were re-positioned. The flight stand connector was cut through,tidied up, pegged and glued at 90 degrees."

I took first place at Imdaar Alpha, if that helps.

I took first place at 3 Imdaar Alpha, second place at the Paris Regionnal and third at the Liege one.

I mostly paint, but I have won a game or two in my time...
