Alternative rules for colisions and overlaps with epic ships.

Okay we all know the so called bowling movement for fighters is a little cheap and it is not easy because big ships are so large but I have an alternative suggestion for fighters when dealing with overlaps.

As of now when ever a starfighter or big ship contacts with the base of a huge ship it is destroyed and you roll and apply damage dice to the other ship. KAMAKAZIE!!!!! I think that is a little unrefined so here is what I offer when I field my big ships.

If a star fighter contacts the base of a huge ship. Move it along so that it touches the huge ship. Then roll an attack die. On a hit or crit the ship crashes into the huge ship and is destroyed. Roll 1 attack dice (2 if it was a big ship) and apply that damage to the huge ship. Focus and blank the ship has avoided it. The star fighter cannot attack or do any actions (just like if it landed on an asteroid or obstacle.)

If any movement of the huge ship causes it to contact with another starfighter the star fighter may attempt to evade if it has no stress tokens and is not under the effect of ion tokens. A starfighter may roll no more than 1 evade dice (even if it agility is greater). focus tokens and evade tokens may be spent to modify the evade roll. If evade then move the fighter closest to point to no longer overlap with the huge ship. If the starfighter had a stress token ore was under the effects of ion tokens or fails to evade then the fighter is destroyed and roll 1 attack die (2 if it was a big ship) and apply it to the huge ship.

I have to assume that when ffg play tests their ships befor release that this may have already been done and removed for reasons unknown to us.

I like the way it is now just for the fact that it really makes your opponent real careful as to where he parks.

Just instant death.

No roll, do not pass go. Just death
