I have a new list I want to take to a tourney at the end of the month and have yet to play it. It's good on meat but still seems lean. Rex is expensive but just seems so good with predator. Opinions ...

I agree with it being a tiny bit lean... but I do like the idea. I'd try to find a way to get Echo a Recon Spec, if possible. I may drop Brath down to a Delta, drop the APL, give Echo a Recon and give the Omi a Gunner and give this a try myself.

They are top billets but I want to play them in the same list due to being greedy lol

I want to do an escalation league, and I think my list will include both Brath and Echo, sicne we get a game at 120 and 150 both of which make better room for them.

I think Defenders and Phantoms can get along fine, but my intuition is that Echo + Brath go together like lasagne and an ice cream sundae: both dishes can be tasty, but you don't necessarily want them on the same plate.

So if it were me, I'd look at dialing Brath back to a Delta (+Ion?) and using the points to give Echo a Recon Specialist and upgrade APL to something that will help deal damage more consistently (Buzzsaw could definitely work, but of course you have a lot of options with the shuttle).

That's probably a better way to put it Vorpal. I'm still a skosh new to the game, so I'm a bit extra nervous about two expensive fragileish ships.

If you drop the APL, you may as well drop the Lambda for an Interceptor. At least the APL gives people a reason to avoid it, which helps disruption. Otherwise, it's just a bad dog fighter that can't keep people in arc.

That same logic can be used for the APL. Its hard to get it into a point that will cause the upgrade to be useful outside of the first pass. I think a Vader shuttle would synergize with the list, but it looks like he wants FCS on the shuttle.

I'm not too happy about putting Phantoms and Defenders together, there are to me always too many points i'd want to spend on one of the other ships. And I'm quite happy thinking up two ship lists.

Currently I'm stuck in a pattern combining those ships with Vader.
