THe B&N's around me seem to get their X-wing stuff in a week or two later than the FLGS. So, if the online retailers or FLGS don't have wave 4 yet, then B&N probably don't either.

When the stuff comes in might vary store to store, as well as when they stock it. But you could try calling them on your lunch break or something. I've found that real live human beings can be very helpful if you are polite and friendly. That way you can get the info without wasting a trip if it isn't there.

Though I doubt the stuff will be in stock this early.

I hear they have things called books that you can learn stuff from or be entertained by.. some of you kids may not be familiar with these "books".

In all seriousness though, B&N is nice for when you absolutely have to have it right now! Best to go with a coupon in hand though!

There is no real local game store... plus, I am a teacher and have a hundred dollars in B&N giftcards that I have saved for this purpose... AND an educators discount card... so in a way, they cost me nothing.

I googled barnes and noble Star Wars x-wing mint e-wing and the defender came up. ;-p

I have not bought from B&N but I have a local gaming store where I buy most of my stuff. I do like to support local workers whenever I can, but sometimes Amazon has a deal too good to pass up.

B&N currently has a summer clearance sale going on in the store - 50% off on red dotted items.

Not sure if any X-Wing stuff are on clearance, but it won't hurt to check and at the same time see if wave 4 is in.

I usually wait to go to B&N until right after the waves are released and ask my wife, "if she wants to take the kids to get some more books?" She always says sure, and while I am there I act shocked that the new wave is out. Usually walk out with a few ships while I wait for the pre-order to arrive!

i just picked up wave 4 at my local Barnes & Noble got two of everything and they were RED dots meaning i got them for 50% off!!! I noticed the CR-90 was red dotted as well so i picked one up for 27 bucks!!! i would have got more of wave 4 but i have a bunch on preorder... No not really just wanted to mess with folks...lol
