If I am facing a group of rebels, Biggs etc, and I want to target lock, can I target lock anyone, as it is not technically attacking?

If I can target lock others, can I use that target lock, in order to avoid having to shoot Biggs, or does the biggs text override target locks on other people. because technically if I want to shoot missiles, I can only do so on target locks, so if a target lock is on another ship, technically I can't shoot biggs with it, so the text is redundant?

But anyway, without the faq in hand I believe if Biggs is with one of your intended target you need to shoot at him. Target locks and ordinance do not matter, you would need to switch to primary.

Yes, you can target lock anyone. No, you still have to attack Biggs, even if it means using your primary weapon rather than the ordnance you wanted to shoot with the TL.

I confirm. If you can shoot Biggs, you must shoot him. Soneither you TL him in the first place, or you can't use your ordnance until he is dead, out of your angle or range! Otherwise you have to use a weapon that can target him.

Then you've seen many players who are underinformed, which happens all the time unfortunately. What's tough is if you are flying a secondary turret weapon but are targeting a ship within range 1 of Biggs in your primary arc, and have Biggs out of your primary arc but in range of your turret, you still have to shoot Biggs.
