Twelve basic tie phantoms, sigma squadron pilots, equating to 48 attack dice a turn. Fly them in a swarm and I don't feel like anything could stand up to that. That could easily destroy a CR-90 in 1-2 turns. Only problem is buying twelve tie phantoms

You can only use 8 of a species of smallship in Epic, right?
Also, the decloak potential would be massive.

The rule is 12 of any Small Base or six of any Large Base. So, the 12-Phantom Armada is totally legal. And it would be absurdly fun to play.
