If FFG would do a 3rd epic ship, I'd still vote for the Vigil!
They kinda did. The Raider has all of the designs the Vigil has, but just slimmed and toned down. After being able to see the Raider in detail and from all angels, I realized that... we did get The Vigil's kid brother.
You know guys, there's a way too easy way to solve all our scaling problems...
X-wing simply becomes the new canon size scale. Boom. Done. Took me like, what, three seconds. Five, tops.
Considering everything, that wouldn't be so bad. The CR-90 looks to be the right size. Feels it, anyway. Like, yes. It is about half as big as it actually is but... Look, I never got the impression it was ever supposed to be a very big ship.
I think if Epic takes off now, we will eventually get more ships. If it doesn't, I suspect FFG will be a lot more hesitant to plow more money into it.

I'll raise your guess by saying that the Gozanti will come with 2 Tie Fighter in the blueish grey from Empire Strike Back, like the bomber and Interceptor. It will be sold at the same price as the transport, since it is smaller but come with 2 ship.

I think we should start calling the transport and the Gozanti the Epic play starter kits. Just occurred to me how handy they are for it. And that way I can justify buying a second transport and two Gozantis. ... Remember, it doesn't count if I'm fooling myself.

Here's the fun part: after two Gozantis I'll have enough ties to field team Epic TIE swarms by myself. Now that's having too many ships. Crap. Need to get another carying case... Better make it two.
Also, we're two named TIE fighters away from being able to run all twelve ties as unique in a team Epic game. After a year or so when we get another round of new TIE pilots we'll actually have to choose one to not bring.

Seeing that this thread just got back up, I'll just take a minute to say that I totally called it a year ago! Just got it off by 10$ actually. Shame on me, I know. 
EDIT: And while I'm at it, I'll call right here that the Scum equivalent of the Rebel Transport and Imperial Gozanti will be the Wild Kaarde and will come pack with a Z-95 with a Mara Jade pilot. Oh yeah!
