The lines on the custom do look more Imperial than the Stilleto but it still looks sleek and menacing, no matter who is driving.

They have the license. The CEO of FFG said in an interview this summer that their Star Wars license covers everything, but for X-Wing they envision the game as Galactic Civil War and forwards.

And cycle back to the truth. Even in the interview where that was said that they were GCW and on, they were pretty dodgy with how they said it. They absolutely left it open ended enough that it is not outside the realm of change. The Dev's are really great designers, no joke no lie, but they aren't all that versed in interview subterfuge.

It's cute when you see them try and scramble to answer some of the more pointed questions, and you can tell when they have a prepared deflection or counterpoint for some others. So sue me, I watch their reactions and body language, and make my own observations.

Also there's a funny tease that was missed at the time of the filming. Start watching at 29minutes. Eventually the one on the left drops the line "It's Unique!" and his designer buddy drops the clue 'Ironic'. I think they had a little inside laugh that all the pilots were uniques LOL

Consular- class cruiser would be super sexy. Really fun repaint too. Nice simple schemes. 115m One of my faves, happens to be CW era

The rule is:

If it's Star Wars, and the devs know about it, and the devs think it is cool, then they will add it to the game.

So if they're watching Rebels, _and_ like the Gozanti, we'll get one. If they're not watching Rebels, we won't get one. If they hate the Gozer, we won't get one.

(The other part is that they have to come up with cool/interesting things that are thematic for that ship, but not done in the rest of the game.)
