It is especially interesting based on the fact that the M3-A Interceptor showed up on the Intimidation Upgrade before

Scum was even announced.

Was waiting to see how long it would take for one of my young good minions, like you, to fix the issue.

Played an Epic tonight with a Decimator on the Imps side and a Corvette on the Rebels. It was really close to feeling like an epic slug fest between light capital ships but was just missing something...Needs another huge. Imps got strategic victory for destruction of the CR-90, Rebels had tactical victory for destroying all enemy forces.

I will say this, I have yet to buy a CR90 or even read the rules for my transport, epic with only one set of ships having epic ships seems no bueno to me. Once the imps get epic ships, I will buy the rebel ones. I am sure I'm not alone on this.

No you are not alone... and FFG might think about less flirting around and just SHOW that they ARE making things happen so that we can all at least wait for it all to be released with less tension. They dis·ap·point·ed and outright pissed off a lot of people at GenCon... not cool guys.

Consider this though, once both ARE out, nothing says you will come up against one in your opponents fleet. Our playgroup really got thrown for a loop one day when I set out my Rebel Epic list...that didn't have a Huge ship in it! They were like what the hell? And I was like why would I bring the things you were preparing to destroy? Had like 13 fighters and a Falcon. stomped em up pretty good. Don't remember who won though. The point is It's kind of a waste to not play anyway with what is available. They ARE balanced to the other ships that are available, so why not? A huge on each side is not required for play. And certainly not rquired for a good time as long as your playing X-wing.

Consider this though, once both ARE out, nothing says you will come up against one in your opponents fleet.

That would kind of suck, though. I think it would even be in violation of the 'Fly Casual' mantra to pull a trick like that.

One thing it seems like we've all be assuming is that we're just going to get Imperial warships. This sort of depends on where they want to take epic play and how mission-oriented it's going to be, but why not some sort of Imperial freighter? Probably not our Best Friend Forever, http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/BFF-1_bulk_freighter , but something more like the Container Transport: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Container_transport or the Modular Conveyor: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Modular_conveyor,

If we get an Imperial freighter of some kind, you suddenly have a whole ton of convoy raid missions you can do, which was half of what the X-wing computer games were, and it makes a ton of sense in universe and would add new gameplay. The large ships for either side also could function as boarding craft.

My guess is that FF is waiting for Disney to confirm that they've nailed the design before announcing anything. I think they actually announced the Revel Huge ships a mite early, and it sort of messed up their schedule.

They have recently given a size band (roughly 150-250 meters)for any Huge ships they do, which strongly implies that they have some things in the works.

Yup... and they are making at least two, I am certain of that. For the Empire. Now are they doing two for SCUM also... dunno, but I bet anything that a Hounds Tooth is on the way.
