In my games I use a lot of terrain, but yeah on most tables with the same tired few little cardboard poop-roids it will get blasted down fast.
Which is why I would never field a decimator in an epic game

I think the only reason it's in there is because the tiny ships around it are VT-49s, if you look close enough.

I have been watching a lot of videos and reading info about The Force Awakens recently and there has been some interesting connections to Star Wars Rebels.
This show IS CANNON as we know, and as such, due in part to my Awakens research I am now even more certain that FFG is going to include some of the Rebels ships in X-Wing.
We have talked about it a lot, and FFG has mentioned it in their recent GenCon interviews.
It came together for me more as I watched the new teaser trailer. That new Sith is not unlike the Inquisitor in Rebels, and I feel that there are now more reasons to take the Rebels cartoon very seriously, as a part of the Star Wars Universe going forward.

I'm fine with that. Rebels is turning out to be great! Very excited for it's future. Still don't know what to make of the Ghost as it pertains to X-wing but whatever. I want a Gozanti now and with making my way through the Clone Wars series I want it even more as it makes sporadic appearances. The way I figure it the more content in the game we get that walks the line between OT and PT, the more likely it will be for us to get full on PT content.
I would not hold my breath waiting for PT stuff, but I would bet $$$ on NT stuff coming out, starting with Rebels ships...
For sure NT will be a definitive. But being a mildly OCD completionist I get antsy when all the cool ships aren't included.
