Anyway,

I think people will just be happy to have a Huge Imperial ship on the board.

People would have the right to be upset if they released the Decimator and YT-2400 before the Falcon and Firespray, because the Falcon and Firespray are obvious choices for Large ships.

There is clearly no obvious choice for a Huge Imperial ship at this scale. I mean, we are talking expanded universe here.

So I think the majority of people will be happy. As long as it looks cool

But there will also be a vocal minority who will cry out in anguish. Who knows. I might be one of them.

So, rather than talking about 'what' will be released, let's start speculating when the imperial huge will be announced.

9.5 months (winter)

1 month (summer) (I don't think the difference between Aug 20, 2013 and Sept 16, 2013 for Imperial Aces to the Rebel Huges really counts as an interval.)

4.5 months (fall/early winter)

4 months (spring)

2 months (summer)

I don't know if the seasonality is significant, but winters do seem to be colder in terns of announcements than summers/early falls are. I think our earliest hope is February of getting some announcement.

Seriously though, I can see why FFG released the rebel huge ships first (smaller ships are easier to make and less of a risk if the idea flops), but it just feels wrong. Either that, or I missed the films about the rag tag fleet of imperial fighters valiantly trying to take down the capital ships of the overbearing rebel war machine

Getting the imperial huge ships out should at least help restore that element of Star Wars feeling to the game.

One of the big reasons that this once glorious forum is less cool now is because there is absolutely no real way to keep things tidy.
