I really don't know why anyone thinks that the Vigil is at all likely. It's a fan-made ship that happened to appear in the background of one picture in one book, and hasn't been used anywhere else. The fact that some random guy made a really nice model of it doesn't make it an important ship in the official universe.
We're getting the Outrider after many other EU vehicles that are less directly linked to the most pure level of canon.
It doesn't seem to me as though FFG is following any level of "officialness" when selecting which ships to make.

VT-49 didn't have much going for it either. That being said, I think Tartan Patrol Cruiser's more likely than Vigil.
Be careful with those brazen predictions. You have a pretty high bar to live up to.

I'll raise your guess by saying that the Gozanti will come with 2 Tie Fighter in the blueish grey from Empire Strike Back, like the bomber and Interceptor. It will be sold at the same price as the transport, since it is smaller but come with 2 ship.
Agree with this but I'd expect Tie Advanced and/or Bomber.

There's no way that's a CR90 "equivalent" man, it would have 12 hardpoint upgrade slots. I could see them doing a three card ship (fore/middle/aft) 4 hardpoints each.Calling it myself:

Not sure on an Imperial transport but for a CR90 equivalent for the Imperials do you think the CR92A is to similar to use? I know it's basically only from the games but it looks marginally different. Just throwing out an idea.

Where are you getting the 150 meters from for the second one?
In the game it is stated as being the same size as a CR90, and a CR90 is 150 meters. That was a fun game... *nostalgia rush*

I could see the BFF-1 if they want to do a direct equivalent to the GR-75; a transport that's mostly 'target practice' with a bit of command and control ability. For that matter, it'd be interesting to see a 1 epic point ship - allowing a sizeable 'convoy' to attack.
On the other hand, there's no requirement for a direct 'mirror image'. A carrier would certainly make a dramatic difference to the gunship CR90.

Well, the base set come with one X-Wing and 2 Tie Fighter. Since the transport come with an X-Wing and the Gozanti is shown with 2 Tie, you just add 1+1. ;P

Those two ships would fit perfectly on the role of the next two huge ships. Empire truly need a V shaped ship!

In that game the Tartan chewed apart fighters. It'd probably function differently in xwing.
Just my guess... could be Lancer, Gozanti or CR92 assassin (really nice ship) but no any triangle shape ship, everyone is too big.
Maybe one of those ship i mentioned would apear in Ep VII and after that FFG will release them.
But there is something that i think no one said before, if we obtain any imperial ship, how will EPIC will play? I don't have any of the current ships, but I don't think for ships will fit on the current size of the "space"

I don't mind what they give us but to appease the star destroyer and needs to be iconic fan base what ever it is has to be triangle shaped.
Agree. We need to be appeased cause everyone expects the star destroyer but its size cannot be placed on a table yet... star destroyer = Capital Ships size (4th kind of ship)

Edited by LipeRJThe Storm Commando Escort Carrier is probably one of the most remarkable ships of the expanded universe. I’ve only discovered it recently while prospecting for potential huge ships for the Imperials. It is by far my favorite Imperial small-sized capital ship. Especially compared with all the phallic options out there.
I hate to use this word for a video game spaceship, but the ship is sublime. It has beautiful lines and at the same time has an imposing presence. It’s different than other Imperial ships that fans have seen on the big screen, but it evokes Imperial through and through. It is definitely not part of the Rebel Alliance.
As striking as this ship is, it has one fatal flaw. It is not 150 meters.
Taking a screen grab, zooming in on the hanger bay and using the 2 tie fighters sitting there as a gauge, the Storm Commando Escort Carrier is about 360 meters.
So that probably takes it out of consideration.
With the VT-49 Decimator in Wave 5, I imagine that FFG is going to pull something out at GenCon that will leave us all surprised.
