Imperial HUGE Ships...I'm Calling It.

Everyone else: do I have my taxonomy right? Is Gabe a troll or some related creature?

Well... you know how ducklings tend to "imprint" on a parental figure, and identify as whatever that is? Gabe is a troll that was raised by humans, so he thinks he's a regular person. The fact that he's the common factor in his (numerous and frequent) unpleasant experiences online doesn't seem to have occurred to him.

Bashing one guy isn't the purpose of this thread. Let's get back on track, folks.

Right! Sorry to have derailed things right as it was starting to get back to the topic.

To spur imaginations, I give you the annual Palpatine Conference & Expo, held at the Coruscant branch of Boobies:

That looks like a soccer ball.

It is good to know that a long time ago in a Galaxy far far away soccer is still supreme.

Yeah the larger size looks right to me too.

Thats just Dandy

I do nott see the Boobies:...

Neither do I; me's disappoint.

I'm still waiting on an official size for the Gozanti carrier but I'm really thinking it's closer to CR-90 sized than GR-75, somewhere between 100-120 meters long

I was thinking 120 myself after I saw this image but I haven't seen anyone show it.

He's got 70 meters, and I don't see anyone showing any math for 120 meters.

My apologies if someone has noted it already, but on the Wookiee the 'Canon' page reads that it's 63.8m, while the 'Legends' page reads 41.8. I hope that's not just some fan posting their own visual calculations, because neither side seems to have a footnote citation.

The Cannon entry is probably in referance to its apearance in Rebels. The one in Legends is it's older version, but I don't know what that would be.

Maybe. 63.8m does certainly not seem like an arbitrary number. But there's still no citation. It's also not listed in the databank on starwars.com (nor is anything else from SW: Rebels as far as I can tell).

The freighter has appeared in the background in the prequels and in the clone wars series many times. I think the length comes from an annotation in one of the prequel art books. The size has just never gelled with the design since it'd make the cockpit windows rediculously small at 20cm tall and the secondary windows on the sides of the chin even smaller. I'm pretty sure there was a fight on top of one in the last season of Clone Wars so screen grabs of that would help. The one in Rebels though is clearly a beast going by the dimensions of the TIEs as comparison. So hard to say if they are the same length for the 2 versions or not.

Citations would certainly end the debate, but as it is things don't seem to line up:

That's fine.

By the way, I would have an easier time following your arguments if you would surround your images with more explanatory text, or have the texts that you have in the images be easier to read.

I am thinking the FFG version is going to be big, and all that has gone before it will get lost in time. FFG is going to give the Gonzanti the good ole Feel/looks right treatment IMO.

I'd like to see the Gozanti, and in the 65-70 meter range at least. I think that would be perfect, and with the hookups for the ties on the bottom.. I wanna use some tacky stuff and stick 4 ties under it.. lol

You so crazy onies... crazy!

You know, The Imperial Gozanti- just a wild idea here...

Could be another model of Gozanti Cruiser.

I'd take 2 of those... one 41 meters, and the "cruiser" version, say, 64 meters.

Is it perverse that I would want a Gozanti model to launch its tie fighters across the board?
