Multiple Evade Tokens

By Engine25, in X-Wing

I feel like I may be answering my own question, but here goes:

Now, for the first time, there will be ways to assign multiple evade tokens to a single ship. For example, Jake Farrell can perform an evade action, and then a ship carrying Jan Ors as a crewmember can change a focus token assigned to it to an evade token. Also, the Lando Calrissian Crew Member card could possibly assign double evades. A focus and an evade can be used on the same roll. Can two evade tokens be spent to cancel two hits from the same attack? I'm assuming not, based on the rule in the FAQ that says effects cannot occur more than once per opportunity. Meaning, one attack creates one opportunity, therefore, one evade token can be spent.

Thoughts?

I would think yes, multiple evade tokens can be spent on a single attack.

The FAQ is basically saying you get one use (effect) for one token (opportunity).

Spending Tokens

When attacking, players may spend focus tokens or target locks and elect not

to modify any attack dice. When defending, players may spend focus tokens

and elect not modify any defense dice and may spend evade tokens to add

evade results in excess of the number of hit and critical hit results.

Emphasis mine.

I read it that you can spend more than one evade token.
