Is that a firespray title with the Outrider?

The Card next to Stay On Target and above the Photon Rockets looks like a Firespray. It also has a unique symbol next to it. Not sure but could we be getting a ship crossover. Its also a little wierd because it looks like the firespray takes up the whole picture so I wouldnt assume that its a firespray chasing an Outrider. And if the Outrider is chasing a Firespray then it would be really hard to make out anything other than the Firespray. Anyways just wanted to know what everyone thought. Could be really cool if it was a title for a generic bounty hunter that could cross factions. The pilot talent would be on the card not the ship so that could mean some cool things as well. I just hope its a premium if that is true say pay Boba Fetts cost but only get a Bounty Hunter.

I am looking forward to these two new ships this game is adding so much that I think we will finally see none of the same lists over and over again. Really good time for xwing.

I think if it was meant for a specific ship, we would see some italic text at the top of the card text.

I'm thinking it will be a unique upgrade called, maybe, Longshot? Gambler flavor stuff, perhaps?

Possibly Lone Wolf. Maybe it buffs ships that stay out of formation.

You also see the circle of the upgrade type. So, it isn't a title or modification. Likely, and Elite Pilot Talent.

Good call, that is definitely an EPT medal.

I agree with EPT. First to words are semi-legible enough to read "when attacking" what it actually does could be anything... It also appears like it would be called "Long Shot"

my guess would be "when attacking at ranges 2-3 you may change 1 [critical] to 1 [hit]. Then you may Turn 1 [blank] to 1 [hit]."

but like i said it could be anything the only legible words are "when attacking"

Lonestar??

Spaceball 1 anyone?

I was thinking it could be something to do with range as well, but there has to be something that makes it unique, which makes me think the above 'Lone Wolf' as an option.

"Long Shot" and "Lone Wolf" don't look like they would fit, given that the text is centred in it's box. "Loner" seems more likely.

That one occurred to me too, oh the speculation.

yep, assuming it will be one of the upgrades the ship can actually use only an EPT fits with the shape we can see. Lone Wolf is a good call and would explain a unique EPT.

What if it gave your opponent extra evade dice, but turned all your hits into crits? That would be a statistical toss up worthy of the name "Longshot".

The symbol looks like a crew upgrade to me.

Sticks with the gambler theme we've got going too.

Gonna say no re: the title but all the the EPT options are interesting. Any lore supporting any of those names? It is unique after all.

Looks like Loner to me, which would make the Firespray artwork fitting. Not sure what it will do.

Probably not Loner judging by where the text is located in the title. Loner is a short word and would be more centered. Maybe "Lone Wolf" or possibly "Longshot" which has been suggested. Although the art doesn't make a lot of sense with Longshot. I'm going with Lone Wolf!

I agree with gullwind, I think it's a crew member icon.

anyone know any EU characters beginning Lon....

This seems most likely the case, which probably means it's an EPT. I rather doubt it's a crew, considering the fact that it has a picture of a ship on it, and not a person.

A unique EPT makes me think of Squad Leader, and Lone Wolf gives me a similar yet opposite vibe. Perhaps you get some kind of bonus (extra action?) if you're range 3 or further away from any other friendly ship, or something to that effect.

That look like a Firespray? All crew cards depict a crew member, none depict a ship.

I'm thinking an EPT with the word Lone in it, hence a picture of a Firespray: they, especially Slave 1, tend to be solitary hunters.

Range 3 from friendlies bonus is a great idea and sounds like it could be accurate.

I have been reading the 'Is the Phantom a misake?' thread... http://community.fantasyflightgames.com/index.php?/topic/108636-4-attack-on-phantom-mistake-by-ffg/

and my observations from that is that FFG has intentionally been pushing for variation in list building and the tactics used once those lists are on the table.

The current meta tend to lean toward neumerous, tightly packed, low PS ships, concentrating fire on one target. More guns/HP trumps most abilities. Point them at the enemy and joust.

The Phantom, Lt Blount, overlaping=bug-on-the-windshield Huge ships, and the Stress-fest weapons/abilities of post Wave 4 leads me to believe that FFG has intentionally been designing to promote spreading the battle out across the game surface, and minimize the 'Furball' effect.

A Lone Wolf ability fits right into that.

Characters beginning with Lon:

Lon: Lon was a light-haired Human member of the Rebellion. He was imprisoned at Balis-Baurgh where he met and befriended Junas Turner and Grael the Ewok. He was later rescued by Rebel forces led by Junas and Grael, who had managed to escape…

Lon Isoto:Lon Isoto was an Imperial Admiral who was regarded as a traitor for his part in the Battle of Brentaal IV.

Lon Kinnik: Lon Kinnik was the New Republic delegate to the InterGalactic Banking Clan on Muunilinst, whose office was located in High Port. Sources Geonosis…

Lon Wert: Lon Wert was a male Vulptereen pilot who served in the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. Sources Byss and the Deep Core…

Lon Shevu: Lon Shevu was a Human male captain in the Galactic Alliance Guard in 40 ABY and avid bolo-ball player. He was known for his dislike…

Lon Secura: Lon Secura was Aayla Secura's uncle, Pol Secura's brother and Nat Secura's father. He was also the Clan Chief of the influential Clan Secura…

The fourth one seems most likely to me. All from Wookiepedia.

Its definitely an EPT. They group the upgrade cards together, and the crew members are All to the right of "Stay on Target" which we will all agree is not a crew card, and is likely to be an EPT...The "loner or lone wolf" is to the left of Stay on Target, and it's symbol that i can see has the definite circle at the bottom and a line going straight up, which is the Medal.

The placement is very ordered, its definitely not random. Clearly.

I would think that it's either something like "When no friendly ships are at ranges 1-2, you may roll 1 additional attack die" To show being more ruthless or something when alone. Or else, "If no friendly ships are at ranges 1-2 you may take a free action during your action step" To show how you have more time to work when there aren't friendlies bogging you down....but i suppose it could even be something more drastic "When there are no friendly ships within range 1-3, immediately remove stress tokens as soon as they are assigned to your ship" To show the comfortability of being alone, and assurance of being alone.
