X-Wing Miniatures Inventory Program

By any2cards, in X-Wing

I'm not sure why this is needed when both VoidState's Squadron Builder and the X-wing Mission Control both allow you to keep track of your collection.

I don't really know why we even need an inventory program...Is there anyone who doesn't know how many of one ship they have?

I have a core set and one of each expansion.

How many stress tokens should I have so that when I leave the match I know I picked them all up?

I'm at the store and need to pick up some sleeves for my upgrade cards. How many do I need?

Also there's no wi-fi, so I can't access the squad builders online.

On the purchases page there is a mistake:

Tie Advanced Expansion says "Wave 1: Tie Advanced x1 Expansion"

On the purchases page there is a mistake:

Tie Advanced Expansion says "Wave 1: Tie Advanced x1 Expansion"

The funny thing about this is that all of the original pre-advertisement of this stuff called it the TIE Advanced x1 Expansion, and most of the actual packaging called it the TIE Advanced Expansion, with Vader's cards mentioning the x1 mod.

At the time I created it, I just followed what ever they called it at the time ... I think most people get the idea. I do appreciate you pointing it out. Thanks

No problem. I thought it was a typo since the last version since I didn't know all that background info on it. I just started playing a month ago and absolutely love this spreadsheet. I have to use them at work and didn't relish building one for my fun time stuff. Thanks for all your hard work, my friend and I have used it twice already to figure out who's leftover token that was on the table.

Hey I think I found another error, You seem to be counting four target lock tokens in the a-wing expansion. All the information i found suggests just one. not sure if anyone else can confirm this?

I have checked the program, and I am indeed counting 4 target lock tokens. I can say for certain that there are at least 2, as it came with W and X target lock tokens. I am not sure why I am showing 4. I could have sworn I checked all of these.

I will have to do some research and verify the target lock tokens that came with the A-Wing, and make sure it was just the W and X, and that there were only 2 and not 2 of each.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Okay, after looking around a bunch, and checking various sites (such as the Wiki for the expansion), it would seem the A-Wing did come with just 2 target locks (W and X). I have modified the program accordingly.

I had been waiting on Wave 6 to make some other changes, but since I continue to receive these requests, I made them today.

Specifically, I corrected the spelling of "Obsidian". In addition, I merged the following:

TIE Advanced x1 into the TIE Advanced

A-Wing, B-Wing, and appropriate Rebel Aces information

TIE Interceptors and appropriate Imperial Aces information

The above was requested by multiple individuals, to make finding and correlating information easier when it came to A-Wing, B-Wing, and TIE Interceptor dials, pilots, etc.

I do note on the spreadsheet with asterisks what parts came from where.

Any2Cards, Thank you for taking the time to develop and maintain this resource .. and for willingly distributing it amongst the community.

any2cards,

I, too want to publicly thank you... I had been thinking about making my own spreadsheet, but I know it would have taken me quite a while and been really clunky.

I really appreciate your work. I have been enjoying playing with the numbers in the spreadsheet, and tracking potential new purchases.

any2cards,

Thanks! Your work is really appreciated!

Great job! This is Awesome!

Added support for Wave 6 S&V and Accessories 2 (Death Star and Starfield playmats).

Does this spreadsheet also track how much money you spent on the sets? That would be terrifying...

Specifically did not put this into the spreadsheet as I had no interest in what I had spent ... and you are correct ... it would be truly terrifying.

Even if I wanted to do this, it would be limited to the MSRP, and most people actually get the expansions for less than this.

Nevertheless, still scary ... :P :D

Great work! But alas, it has shown me how truly addictive this game is... 83 ships total... Hope the wife doesn't find this spreadsheet

After giving this much thought, and truly wondering where I am in investments in this game, I went ahead and added a feature on the Purchases page which totals the MSRP $ spent, the Discount $ spent, and any Savings achieved. You can all thank (or more appropriately blame) Nightshrike for this.

The MSRP $ reflects the price FFG set for the item in question. To be clear, this is the original price that was set for the item when it first came out.

The Discount $ reflects the on-line discount price that can be found at CSI, Miniature Market, etc. Note that these prices could change at any time based on sales, etc., but I have used what they originally sold for when they first came out (as this is when I, and most others I suspect, bought everything). Sometimes there was a few cents difference between CSI and MM, but nothing significant. It pales in comparison to the total spent. :P :D

The Savings $ is simply MSRP $ - Discount $.

After doing this, and entering my ship counts, I was truly staggered by the amount. I will say that my savings was in excess of $500. :P :D

I bought 4 Bombers when they went on sale last year on MM thinking there'd be a fix for ordinance (silly me, right?).

But I have to say, this spread sheet is really handy. I'm so happy to have pretty much everything I want and I haven't crossed the $500 threshold yet.

I'm right with you - just barely. Sitting at $491.00, though I got some discounts, so I'm probably sitting at around 475 total investment. Still...holy cow...

Uh... I'm up to $1600 MSRP... Got about half my stuff at that price....

Hope my wife doesn't see this too!

Just wondering if anyone knows how to get this info printed on to a few less pages?

Unfortunately, I really can't think of one off hand. Each of the pages are done the way they are to make them usable for displaying data, and for appropriately separating things; this in turn leads to many different tabs, which equates to many different pages.

One thing I can look at is if there is a way to create another tab which is used just for printing, and see if there is a way to "compress" the data so that it prints out on a few pages.

Just wondering if anyone knows how to get this info printed on to a few less pages?

Okay, I added a Print tab to the spreadsheet. It is located at the very end. If you access this tab, and print from it, it will print out the whole spreadsheet in a condensed form (5 pages instead of 14). It should also make it easier to print, as you only have to print from 1 tab. Hope this helps.

Added support for Imperial Raider.
