Just got my CR90 yesterday, and noticed one of the engines was glued with improper alignment. It sits about 15-20 degrees off center. Really a bummer after dropping the $$ for it - anyone else seen this and/or found a way to remedy it? Can post pics later.
Damaged CR90
If you photograph it and send the photo to FFG you may find they'll replace it..
Hmm, didn't think they would do such a thing for a large ship - thanks for the suggestion! At first I thought it was some shipping damage, since the box took a little beating. Rather avoid X-acto surgery, if at all possible
I had a broken secondary weapon on mine and the broken part was not in the packaging. I contacted FFG and asked for a replacement part(not the full model). Eventually they said contact the retailer for replacement or refund and that it was not possible to offer replacement for the large ships.
That's understandable with such an expensive product.
I got mine from minimarket and when I picked up from it being shipped to a location in the USA since I live in Canada I noticed a paint mark on the plastic in the box. Upon taking it out of the box I saw that there was paint scratched off of the engines and 2 gauges on the engines themselves where plastic was actually scraped out. I photographed it all and sent it in to FFG. My response was that they don't deal with the big ships and to contact the retailer. I sent them an email back saying that MiniMarkets policies apply to unopened product and that I had to open it to notice this mistake and even if that wasn't the case the timeline was too late to contact them for return since they only give a couple days to return product with a 15% fee for restock. I sent that message back to them almost 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard a word from them. I know everyone talks about how good FFG is for replacement and that their customer service is great, well not for this customer. I don't care if your product is a small x-wing or a large tantive 4 stand behind your product and deal with all the mistakes that arise.
Well, crap on a stick. Looks like she'll be going under the knife soon. I can totally understand FFG not replacing units damaged in shipping, but this is clearly a manufacturing error. Hopefully the sour taste in my mouth will go away before Wave 5...
