just for fun.... yt-2400 with title and autoblaster, can only attack at range one, but with barrelroll and 360° may not be as hard to do... could be fun. On another note, there has got to be some cool new cannon upgrades coming with that thing right? I want more cannons for my sweet sweet Bs.
360° autoblaster?
It doesn't seem to come with anything but an HLC
I seriously hope there's a new cannon upgrade. I love the HLC, and tend to pass on AB, but I'm definitely ready for something new.
I hadn't thought about the barrel roll on a large base ship though...that's...interesting...
If only you could equip an HLC and an Autoblaster...
I'd rather just take the PS2 version with Autoblaster sans title. Should be cheap enough to still be effective, and you're not hamstringing yourself at longer distances.
but.... 360° autoblaster..... lol
It could work with anti-persuit lasers. Crash into your nearest swarm and go to town. Terrible against fellow rebels though...
Oh, my. The most expensive 2400 is only 36 points. Which means you could certainly fit 3 2400s into a list. Imagine, 3 turret-wielding powerhouses. This is gonna be a fun wave

The cheapest one is probably 30 points. Three of them leave you ten points to improve damage output. Three attacks of 2 dice each are less than impressive.
Edited by dvorThese will effectively replace the ORS though I think.
It doesn't look like there's a new cannon in the photo. I see 5 crew, 3 mods, 2 EPTs, title, HLC, and Photon Rockets.
These will effectively replace the ORS though I think.
The ORS at its most useful uses its upgrade slots together (Navigator + Int Agent, Tactician + Gunner, et c).
This seems like it will give Rebels fits like the Defender does for the Empire.
"I want to run 3, but how do I do it?"

I think a PS 2 2400 with APLs will be fun if you run it with some cheap Ions(either Z-95s with Ion missiles or Hwks/Ywings with Turrets)
Looks like it also comes with a heavy rocket launcher...
The only thing I find humorous is how the biggest turret to date does the least damage... Makes the turrets on the falcon and Decimator look like toys in everything but stats!

The 2400 basically has the same guns as an unmodified YT-1300.
Even without 360 arc the 2400 does remove one of the big problems people seem to have with autoblaster, namely "everything that can take it gets 4 dice at range 1 anyway". If the dial is at all good I can see it being used for that alone.
Yeah so far, autoblaster is only good on Rexler Brath for me (if he has a focus afterwards to upgrade all those un-blockable hits to crits)
But on the Outrider that wasnt scared of getting in close, it'd rock.
The way i read the Outrider title upgrade, if you did have an autoblaster you could fire it 360 degree however you would lose the ability to shoot beyond that range as you cannot use your primary weapon. It would be the same problem with the HLC, you wouldn't be able to shoot anything at range 1.
I'm still admiring the fact that the OP actually used the ° symbol in the thread title. Well done.

Am I a nerd if I didn't even have to look up the alt code for the degree symbol?

Either that or your keyboard meets minimum requirements.
