Good point. But it's more likely just because I have no self control when it comes to buying Star Wars things! Especially with this game. Buying only one ship each WOULD be holding myself back.

My guess is this is it for wave 5. I would actually be surprised if there was an additional two small based ships. Also, the fact that each come with a ton of upgrade cars lends credence to this conclusion.

I've not yet succumbed to acquiring a big ship, but man that outrider has me tempted.

I really love the Outrider and I'll buy it. I hoped a long time that they'll release it.

The non-iconic ships don't bother me, I like looking at the EU ship entries on wookiepedia and I think wave 5 is a cool addition to the game. I'm ordering 1 of each initially, can pick up more later if I feel the need. Both those ships will look good on the table and neither one looks like it will be a slouch once dice are rolling.

Imma put in my pre-order for 2 each today.

I read somewhere something along the lines of;

Absolutely. FFG has demonstrated time and again they know how to introduce new ships into this game. A turreted imperial ship? That's a no brainer. The YT-2400? I've actually been patiently waiting for this one.

100% yes on the Deci, looks like a gorgeous ship. Might get 2...

Not a fan of the YT-2400s...didn't really appeal to me back in the shadow of the empire game. I'd only get it if my wife looks at it and says she wants it (she won't recognize it as she's only seen the films).

The yt-2400 is technically in the original trilogy. Don't know what else can be considered more iconic. Depending on the points cost the yt-2400 is still a better ship then the decimator IMHO based on what we see so far.

I don't follow the EU much, but even if I don't recognize names/ships I have to have them.

I love this game too **** much.

Plus sometimes I do learn a little about the EU.

Nope, wouldn't buy it if it didn't come with upgrades my other ships will need. The Outrider is at least recognizable, but I already have the Falcon which does most of the same things and I don't really love the ship like some people do. And there's no way I would buy an incredibly ugly imperial ship from an obscure game without the upgrade cards. I'll probably just keep the cards and sell the ship.
