The YT-2400 is going to change the Meta for sure!
Bring Out the Big Guns! Wave 5 announcement
Am I the only one happy there is only two ships this wave?
My wallet has already taken a real beating this year between Imperial Aces, Transport, Blockade Runner, Wave 4 and Rebel Aces.

Not only that, but you only really need 1 of each, since they are big ships. Certainly only 1 of the imperial one, as it is fully half your squad, and probably (definitely for me) only 1 outrider as well.
I agree on 1. Double Falcons is rare but happens, and double/triple Firesprays are pretty good, but double Decimators will leave you sorely lacking defense. Double YT-2400s probably won't catch on either, as the most attractive option is the Outrider title, which is unique. I think we may see Falcon/Outrider lists, but double Outriders are unlikely unless some of those upgrades we can't see are absurdly good.
Once more into the beech
Soooo, we're gonna get a small ship Virago too, right? I can't imagine the Outrider and no Virago.
Well, what have we here? This is going to be sick.. So, the outrider could essentially use the HLC as a turret weapon?? Nasty bit of business there, and Lando looks awesome!
Amd be able to fly through asteroids and still use it.
The ultimate flying turret, as imp player, he must die first
Just think of what a prototype VT-49 would be like in mission 7 cutting the cord!
hmmmmmm
black squad pilot + draw thier fire
cannor jax
the 46 point decimator pilot + marajade + gunner + fleet officer, is 100 on the dot
probably a good thing that it doenst have a system slot, turret buzzsaw would be gross
The YT-2400's code is SWX23 and the VT-49 Decimator is SWX24. That means we still don't know what SWX25 through 28 are (Rebel aces is SWX29).
So right now on their product page they have the YT-2400 priced at $30, but the Decimator is priced at $40. I wondering why it's more expensive then the other large ships.
Oh, yeah, you're right. That's weird. I wonder why they'd deviate from their usual pricing in intervals of $15...

Well, unfortunately, "In the game’s fifth wave, two large starships arrive ready for the heat of battle: the Rebellion’s YT-2400 and the Imperial’s VT-49 Decimator." so this is Wave 5. Maybe those are reserved for Wave 6?
Whoa! That imp ship has topedoes, bombs, and 360 turret! My new favorite ship!!!!!
Just a question.. Aren't missiles and Torpedoes considered to be secondary weapons??
Yeah, rebels needed more turrets.
.........I'm speechless. Sooooooooo HAPPY LOL! I'm gonna start saving today, because FFG is trying to make me go broke.
I don't even know where to start. I'm happy for the rebels, but they already had a 360 ship.
This is new uncharted space for my kind. We finally have a falcon substitute.
I can't believe it. Look at all the upgrades & abilities. Omg, imagine how awesome running one or two of those in an epic will be, YES!!! Lol ok I gotta go calm down. We don't even have wave 4 yet lol!
So what do you think about the Debri tokens. Will they just be asteroid replacements, or maybe new rules that let you place them in the spot of a destroyed ship for more dynamic obstacles? The VT-49 looks like it comes with a rules card I don't recognize (middle one). Maybe it's for Using Debri Tokens? Though if so you think it would be with the YT-2400 too.
Just a question.. Aren't missiles and Torpedoes considered to be secondary weapons??
Chardaan Refit is not.
All others start with the header " Attack: ". That makes them secondary weapons.
Also, Fleet Officer on a ship with Advanced Sensors, anyone?"
I love the difference between Lando's and Han's crew abilities. Han takes the gamble out of your Target Lock, and Lando puts the gamble Into the Focus.
Remember who won the Millennium Falcon from whom in a game of Sabaac?
Alright, so the breakdown of Lando's odds are:
4/64 :|: gaining 2 Focus tokens
9/64 :|: gaining 0 Tokens
9/64 :|: gaining 2 Evade tokens
12/64 :|: gaining 1 Focus token
12/64 :|: gaining 1 Focus token and 1 Evade token
18/64 :|: gaining 1 Evade token
So, appx 14% of the time, you have wasted your action, appx 39% of the time you have gained 2 tokens, and appx 47% of the time you have gained a Focus or Evade token without having performed a Focus or Evade action.
Moreover, appx 60% of the time you will have received at least 1 Evade token, and appx 44% of the time you will have received at least 1 Focus token.

Well a couple of people have already pointed out that they said it is to be the biggest 1/270 scale ship.
Let's start a pool. How terrible will the Decimator's Dial be? It has a Green 2-Bank, so that's a good sign. Bets on a full stop? No K-turn? Red hard turns? Max Speed?
Sound off!
To make up for having no defense dice it gets a green 1 2 3 4 and 5 k turn ; ]

2 Decimators is 32 hitpoints. Thats a lot to chew through. Its 6 more than double Falcons. So with the Falcons only rolling 1 die normally, I think it will be pretty even on defense. Remember you do get 1 die at range 3 in the Deci.
I know this is a bit of a stretch, but does Outrider turn your secondary cannon into your primary for purposes such as, say Gunner?

Yeah, maybe. Maybe we're not getting huge Imperial ships. Maybe FFG just couldn't make them work scale-wise.

Nope. Those words aren't on the card, the title has the same wording as the Ion/Blaster turrets

Now put Lando with Threepio, on Han's Falcon.
Already in love with Mara and the Fleet Officer (ruleswise off course) ... but the Decimator made have to work hard to sell itself for me, 'cause around 40 points mark for a large ship with no evade dice despite 3 crew, cannon and system -as it appears- (well, I will pre-order one for the cards; but table presence-wise it might just end like the Firespray)
EDIT: also ION TORPEDOS! yay for TIE Bombers!
EDIT2: Fun Fact: The VT49 seems to be first ship in X-Wing that is not also featured in 1996's "The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels"

I don't think so. They will just wait until Gen-Con to announce the Huge Imperial ships. They hinted last year that they are going to have them.
