Does anyone remember if FFG ever announced just two out of the four ships in a wave?
Bring Out the Big Guns! Wave 5 announcement
Remember, the 12 point HCL turret you are thinking about also prevents you from firing at rage 1, ever.
Unless you get a munitions failure crit.
Could be a reason to equip the cheapest missile as well.

I think that would knock off your HLC, but you'd still have the Outrider title and still be unable to fire your Primary.
You would have no attack at that point.
Maarek Stele is suddenly seeming a lot happier.

Don't think so... this Wave may only be 2 ships. We shall see... The Darkside clouds everything. Impossible to see, the future is.

No.
So far they always had all ships in one announcement. Which makes me believe that the two are all.
Dash Rendar, Outrider, HLC is still amazing.
You can stay in the asteroid field, barrel roll off them, and slide to the correct range to let turret HLC blow a hole in something. 2 Agi dice is so nice too, I am really excited for this ship.
text from the top imperial pilot: "When attacking at Range 1-2, you may change one of your (focus) results to a (crit) result." Awesome pilot ability!
A few thoughts:
- I'm stunned that there are only two ships in this wave. And I'm kinda disappointed.
- They actually made an EPT (I assume it's an EPT) named "Stay on Target," haha
- They put a barrel roll on that Outrider. That's gonna be pretty crazy. Sure, you can't shoot while on an asteroid with Dash Rendar, but you can move through them (and barrel roll off of one if you land on one) with impunity!

"While you have it equipped..." If you discard it it is no longer equipped.

After discarding the cannon, you do have the primary weapon.
I think I just pee'd a little
Anyone mention Ion Torpedo? It has to be pretty cheap, 2 points?
Engine upgrade on the Outrider with Push on Dash is going to be insane. Boosting Barrel rolling Big ship?? Yes PLEASE!

Does it?
Hey, point of order.

You may ignore obstacles in the Activation Phase and for the purposes of Actions. You CANNOT still attack if you overlap an obstacle. Suddenly seems a lot less awesome...
Still pretty good, since you can maneuver OR BARREL ROLL onto, off of, or through obstacles, without suffering damage.
Yeah the stock barrel roll action is quite good.
If you barrel roll of an obstacle, you can shoot during the combat phase. He'll hardly ever loose his attack.
Am I the only one happy there is only two ships this wave?
My wallet has already taken a real beating this year between Imperial Aces, Transport, Blockade Runner, Wave 4 and Rebel Aces.
So right now on their product page they have the YT-2400 priced at $30, but the Decimator is priced at $40. I wondering why it's more expensive then the other large ships.

Not only that, but you only really need 1 of each, since they are big ships. Certainly only 1 of the imperial one, as it is fully half your squad, and probably (definitely for me) only 1 outrider as well.
Let's start a pool. How terrible will the Decimator's Dial be? It has a Green 2-Bank, so that's a good sign. Bets on a full stop? No K-turn? Red hard turns? Max Speed?
Sound off!

Because it's FREAKIN' HUGE!

"The VT-49 Decimator Expansion Pack brings this intimidating Imperial gunboat to
X-Wing
as the game’s largest ship yet designed for Standard Play. Even at the game’s signature 1/270 scale, the expansion pack’s detailed miniature towers over its base and smaller starfighters." Probably because the plastic is expensive

White full stop.

1 and 2 bank white, 1-2 straight green, 3-straight white, 2 turn red, stop red. That's my full bet
Just noticed the 0 agility on the Decimator.. Ouch.. So, no evade dice at all for the thing? Talk about a sitting duck. Guess we'll see a lot of people putting Stealth Device on it, although that might just be a waste of points..
I'd be surprised if some of the upgrade cards or crew don't give some defensive options. For a cost, of course.
