The Vader dominator combo will be the death of interceptor lists. Vader and gunner can give a crit to two interceptors a turn. Swarms will give it all kinds of problems unless there is something out there we don't know about but lists of fewer ships will have big problems. Very anxious to see the other upgrades. I'm still hoping for a reinforce action mod or EPT. The bomb slot kind of tells me it doesn't k-turn. If they come up behind drop a bomb and watch them spat. Phantom will have a tough time with that list too. Can't dodge its arc. Vader crew can always hit maybe twice with gunner. Biggs will be vital against this. B wings and Biggs will have the best chance against this. Stoked about both of these ships.

Etahn and a 5 swarm of critting Z95's should cut it up in a nice cloud of debris quite nicely. There's only 4 shields after all.

Determination might be a very needed EPT indeed for the Decimator.

So happy to have the YT-2400 in the game, I was never a big falcon fan. The decimator is going to be a challenge for rebels to bring down.

DeciVader with a Gunner will be devastating to Interceptors for this reason: You can force Gunner to trigger with Target Lock. Lock on to Interceptor 1. Spend Target Lock to reroll hits, hoping for focus or blank results. Activate Vader, dealing a critical to that Interceptor. Activate Gunner, Target the higher priority Interceptor, if you get hits through, good for you, AND you can still activate Darth Vader, dealing that one a crit as well. OR you could target the original target again, guaranteeing 2 crits against the same ship.

Guaranteeing 2 crits against those pesky dancing interceptor pilots may or may not be worth it. Against a 4-int list, possibly. Against a bigger list or swarm, probably not.

Agreed. Putting Vader on anything other than the shuttle does not feel right to me.

Here's the thing about Vader in a Decimator. Putting him in shuttle that winds up being less than a third of your squad isn't that big of a deal when you lose it. You start eating away you HPs when you already pretty much just take whatever is being thrown at you, on a ship that is going to be half your squad. Suddenly, the autocrat isn't as big of a deal anymore. Vader should not go on a Decimator.

I would say, as an aside this release looks good for the Shuttle as well so many new crew, so many more options.

As an aside, people were bringing up product numbers earlier. How we have now 3 un accounted for. Is it possible, perhaps that there will be another Aces type release in there, as well as 2 imperial huge ships ? That would then account for up to the product codes we know of. Perhaps the Aces pack will be the Advanced plus mystery ship ? Not to speculate too much but I can't see the imperial huges not being in the release schedule. Especially with the decimator being put out, what an amazing fleet you could put out with one or two or those, plush a huge gun ship, then some smaller support craft, I'm already feeling it.

I feel the same way Shadows of the Empire was the first Star Wars video-game I ever played, (really funny story about that too, I think I was in my parent's bedroom for some reason when I was like 6 or 7, I don't remember the reason since it was like 15 years ago, saw the game "hiding" down by my Dad's dresser and I remember asking him as soon as he got home if I could play it, thinking back I think i ruined a birthday/chirstmas present when I did that, although maybe it was Rainbow Six that was the game I found, it has been a little while after all)

Well remember that the belief is that with Rebel Aces/Wave 4 out there will be more 3 Ship builds and getting some hits and the autocrit will make up a larger portion of your opponent's health,a kitted out phantom is about 3/8ths of your opponents force, I would gladly sacrifice 2 HP from a (we'll say 50pt ship for round numbers) to land the killing blow on it after my normal attacks so I sacrifice 1/8th of the HP of ship that is half of my force to kill off the phantom I come out ahead on that one. Also leaving that phantom alive I practically guarantee that Phantom is doing more than 2 damage to the Decimator every turn so Vader would be a "defensive" option in that respect,

Two critted interceptors are likely two dead interceptors. The Decimator is not the only ship you'll be fielding either. If the Decimator cripples the enemy and draws all their fire you cleanup crew will smash them. There are a lot more lists that will give the Decimator more problems than the interceptors.

You will gain agility through range 3 and asteroids/ debre. Maybe some sort of unspoiled action or title will be included as well.

The dial is showing a Green 2-Bank. Removing the stress may not be too difficult, so I would consider Opportunist. If you look close, you can see even the lowest of the 3 unique pilots has an EPT slot, making that one great for Opportunist, after the enemy's token is spent.
