If the B Wing isn't in your Rebels list you're simply not understanding the game.

hehe Not rude, it's a pretty solid statement. The current World Champion got his title using a 2x B-Wing, 2x X-Wing list and, surely enough, at our small (10 players) Assault at Imdaar Alpha tournament, the top 2 players were also using BBXX lists...

That was one of the best X-Wing games I have seen.

Rebel:

1) HWK-290 (because reasons)

2) A-wing (it is like an interceptor)

3) Y-wing (Horton Salm with his epic mustache)

Imperial:

1) Interceptor (I love them, they are amazing)

2) Firespray (especially with EH)

3) TIE Fighter

Haven't done enough with the Lambda, plan on it soon so we shall see where it ends up.

I love the Y-Wing, for sure.

It is my third favorite Alliance fighter.

I like the looks of the Advanced probably the best of the Ties Except for the Interceptor/Defenders but the gameplay aspect is a little underwhelming

and judging by all of the people with Tie Advanced Avatar Images people like the look of the ship they just don't like its in game stats

As my x-wing collection is shared by the whole gang, the only mini I own that has seen more board action than my advanced has been the Falcon. Many people, at least amongst us casuals, would still run Vader in the Advanced even if he costed 40+ points, when push comes to shove, its Darth Vader! The Advanced has been the go-to first pick for first time players, the homing missile laden, squad-leading, trench running, overcosted ship that could, and has. Three Amigo's is still a list we use from time to time, and lately Maarek has downed Rebel Transports with well placed crits just before they jumped to safety off the board. I love all the ships in this game, but when the crew comes over for game night it will be my Advanced that has a chance at shooting down Luke in the trench, not a Defender.

Nice post. Yeah I love everything, and at my table Vader has some house rules to represent that he is the best bad ass in The Empire.

I use very fun Force Rules in my Meta.

Empire is harder to choose just three. Rebels is easy. I pretty much use only three of their ships, and occasionally the HWK.

I like the bigger ships (YT-1300, CR-90, GR-75, Lambda shuttle & Firespray-31) but they are not "must haves". X-wings, B-wings and TIE (Ln/In/SA) ARE Star Wars, IMO!

Yeah but the Large Ships sure are fun...and pretties too.

I totally agree with your list, I really like this six ships too, and is the most used in my plays, greettings.

I have not done the numbers, but it looks like our Star Brothers are pretty much in agreement with my top six. With some unexpected extra love for A-Wings, Y-Wings, and Tie Bombers.
