Do you have a sound track that would describe a dog fight?

By Cubanboy, in X-Wing

Mine

Deus Ex Human Revo : Icarus

Mass Effect 3 : Leaving Earth

Metal gear solid peace walker : main theme ost

Chrono Cross : Scars of Time

Clean up song

Helps you remember all the ships you lost.

I've had a few games that Yakkity-Sax would have worked for

Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone

Yup, did it.

I really like listening to The Battle of Yavin in preparation for a large tourney... It's such an emotionally powerful song, and obviously it's Star Wars, and X wings as well!

"Jet Fighters Never Die" by the Butthole Surfers

Wrap up: "I Fought The Law" - The Clash version if Imps (the law) won, Sex Pistols version if Rebels victorious.

Anything & everything composed by John Williams.

Clearly.

The best theme post OT.

Video-Game soundtracks are brilliant for this. They're designed to be energy-pumping, thematic, and most importantly, inobtrusive.

"Fortuna Imperiatrix Mundi".

The first (and last) movement from "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff. Especially appropriate if you speak Latin. Translates to "Fortune/Luck/Fate Rules All".

Here, provided with English translation. If this doesn't describe your experience with X-Wing, you need to tell me what game you are playing because it isn't the same one I am.

:)

you know that sound they play on Price is right when the climber is going up the mountain, that sound when rolling the dice, and then the "you failed the game" sound.

I was thinking also queen

But that dates me ;-p

Ace combat and top gun soundtracks and you're all set.

Highway to the danger zone (I always envisioned TIE pilots dashing to their fighters and taking off when I heard this song as a kid...and my dad watches top fun all the time)

Terran theme 02

C&C Thang

The opening song to final fantasy tactics (less the first slow part)

Pick up would be Still Dawn for the original Resident Evil

That's what I would pick

EDIT TO ADD: also FIRE by scooter

Carmina Burana has been a favorite of mine since I first saw Excalibur. And I love most things John Williams does, and Duel of fates is no different. Both good for me.

Knights of the Old Republic score 'The Sith' and 'Last confrontation' Asteroid field from ESB, Batle of Yavin from SW. Innumerable excerpts from the Spae Battleship Yamato scores and of one prefer rock backgrounds Tarja era Nightwish , Epica and Rhapsody of Fire (though the last might be more suited for a D&D game the sound works)

Lots of Anime soundtracks... there are always a few duds but you can make a playlist:

Hellsing 1 &2- there are a few duds

Wolf's Rain- mellow

Cowboy Bebop

Samurai Champloo- urban

The Animatrix soundtrack

Speaking of anime. Crusher Joe has more swagger in its opening theme than most if that is something one might want

The Raid Redemption and the Oblivion soundtrack

Can't figure out how to embed videos.. any help??

Danger zone was sung at me at a tournament when wedge flew off on his own.

To be fair I have sung ABBA at him first.

Soundtrack all ABBA works for me though! Total cheese and can easily change words as you go :-)
