If you come to Ottawa I can play with you in Italian.
Zoccola are you italian? Do you know what "zoccola" means in italian?
Certo che si. I miei nonni e genitori sono nati in Italia.
And the name is appropriate.
It comes from World of Warcraft where I got the nickname (in English of course) for rolling Need on everything so my friends couldnt get it. So they called me the Loot Who#$. When we changed servers the name was taken, and so I said, "No one has chosen this, and its fitting..."
And that was like 9 years ago. Name has stuck in various games and a bunch of servers.
Also my Nonno would use the word a lot when we were working around the house. I learned a lot from him.
Great! I also learned lot of words from my grandpa
Have you been in Italy?
Yes, about 6 years ago, my wife and I went for our honeymoon. We stayed for 24 days.
Roma 2 days then drove to my mom and dad's paesi, both in Abruzzo, about 1.5 hours south of Pescara (and up a mountain). Stayed with some relatives. From there we went to a little paese called Tavernelle, about 30 min south of Firenze. We got a great deal on agriturismo.it for a farm house for a week, so we drove around Toscana, saw Luca, San Casciano, Pisa, San Gimigiano, Firenze and Sienna. From there we drove to Torino, went shopping, saw lots of museums. Drove to Laggo Maggiore, stayed in Stressa for a couple of days. Then to Milano, more shopping, more museums. Then the train to Venezia, stayed for 3 days, then train back to Roma, stayed another 3 days and then back to Montreal.
I want to go back!
Although I promised my wife we would go to Holland and Ireland first (she's half Dutch and half Irish) and see her parents home towns.
Great! I also learned lot of words from my grandpa

does speaking some italian count?
@Zoccola:
You made a great tour, you visited the most important city. I'm living in Alessandria, under Torino. Was a famous italian city in 1930 years for "Borsalino" cap factory. Now we have a good wine production
