I think we know right now why all those waves are 'on the boat' forever...
the first containers were hi-jacked by this guy!

I do work in the port
but i will say nothing further
I feel like I'm going through the 5 stages of geekiness:
Denial: "No way would anyone play this... unless..."
Anger: "Oh come on, a lone A-Wing in the back? It should be in the front!"
Bargaining: "How many more ships would I need to make something epic like this?"
Depression: "Crap, I clearly can't afford to do this."
Acceptance: "Oh well, it was a nice dream... so how does the battle end?"
Seriously though, now that it's set up, we need to know how this thing end. You can't leave us hanging like this
Last picture: View from Darth Vader's ship.

Did not get a lot of playing in as the game set up alone took an hour. The set-up of cards / dials /setting dials makes me shudder to think per turn.
I did check movement for the 1 st turn and only have word to say "Bump"!

I really would like to see a full fledged 2k game, and with closing in on the figures to do it (Wave 4 helps a lot), my only fear is the cost of a hotel's ballroom to set up the tables for it. Even with the bumps and consideration of playing at least 2 days (possibly 3)
Ridiculous is a word that comes to mind. Could anyone possibly get any maneuvers done WITHOUT bumping into each other? If the board was twice as wide tho, I think it'd be monster game for the ages. Good luck with it tho.
I once played a 13 hour game of 40K apocalypse. It was somewhere around 40,000 points. we managed 3 turns then gave up after hours of distraction, beer and farting. I foresee a similar fate here.
Man this goes motivates me to do the same with my fleet sometime soon nice fleet man
"We're gonna need a bigger
boat
table"
I cannot possibly add anything awesome enough to trump what has already been said. You guys are killing me!
Inspired me to do 3 separate games with 6 players, 3 to a side. One on what is typically the "snack table" (3x6), one on the poker table, and one on the bar (2.5x9 or so). You can "jump to light speed" between locations at the end of any round and you join the new location stressed at the beginning of the round. We'll have some reinforcement rules tied to objectives (one enemy ship to kill, one secret ship to protect) and some location specific objectives. Our fleet is no where near that big though so I'm guessing it won't be as impressive. But it will play a whole heck of a lot faster!
Rebel fleet jumps into a trap. 1799 Empire and 1379 rebel no upgrades on any ship. I used the lowest pilot skill so you can bump the points up.

Yow-zah...Wow-Zzzah!
I don't know why any Imperial Admiral would field transports in Combat, implying that the force is some sort of suspiciously obvious and over-the-top honour guard. I can only assume that each one contains a decoy Emperor, while the real one is kicking back in the Imperial Palace on Coruscant, cheerfully torturing a middle-aged Jedi padawan.

Or the Lambdas are there to provide additional telemetry data for the bomber to launch missiles. I believe Tycho does this for Corran in one of the X-wing books, when Corran is Ioned, and can serve to "extend" torpedo range in the books because the torpedo range is like 10 clicks and the lockon range is like 2.5 klicks or something
If my funds were unlimited would be nice. The wifey part np since im single. Sweet dreams tonight this will be.

I have to give thanks to my wife. She is a VERY understanding wife.

Battle of Endor had the same odds look how that turned out
So I've got to ask. How much would all this cost?
Math Wingers, I summon you!
I estimated about $2250.00. Impressive, most impressive.
I came to $2640 by my count
Still cheaper that WarHammer
I count 139 small ships, 14 large ships, 2 Transports, and a Blockade Runner. Admittedly it's 2 AM so my counting skills aren't at their best but HOLY COW. That's a lot of ships.
Please moo loudly when you move the herd of shuttles down the table.
Is it impressive I've got that many shuttles just on my own ?
@johnny3078 - you sir are a legend. Can you please setup ALL your ships and post a photo? I want to print it out as a poster and hang it on my wall so every time the missus complains I have too many ships, I can point to it and say "No it's not!"
Biggs is going to have a VERY short 1st round.
